Sure, heavens knows what they'll cost!

It's been a few years since I've gone back to Pennsylvania for spring gobblers. If I did really good here and filled both tags, I might entertain thoughts of heading down though. Yes on the 1st............ You back from Maryland?

I'm sworn to secrecy. 5 more years and I'll be clear of charges..........

Who's going besides me? May May 3, 2013 - Lewiston Smelt Festival Lewiston celebrates one of its natural resources; the Smelt! The Niagara River Anglers batter and fry hundreds of pounds of smelt on the Lewiston Waterfront (115 N. Water Street, Lewiston NY) with the Silo Restaurant serving more to eat and drink. Plenty of free smelt and live music keep the crowds coming! For more info: 716-754-9500. www.niagarariverregion.com.

Forgiven............... HAPPY BIRTHDAY ALL!!
-
Well heck, I expected a hard luck story! Sounds like a good time for a change, not that you had to, but wanted to. Your children seem to be in good shape and your job secure and a great wife also. You are a fortunate man. Enjoy the next chapter in your book of life!

Paula dropped the ball.........................................

And make sure we get to see some fish pics........grin!

Good for you! What brought on the change? I give you a ton of credit, I don't know if I could do it. Be strong and make it work!!!!!

He was on a sales mission and he has a lousy attitude.
-
Damn Girl! Be careful, you get yourself in trouble and we'll have to raise money with a bake sale and bail you out of the slammer. AND.......we ain't doing any bake sales until next Saturday and by them you'll have missed a few days of Spring Gobbler hunting. Don't raise no Cain with those folks at Frontier! Mr. B will have to invite 11 of his closest buddies over to fill those 12 blinds............. Grins

What are turkey boots? I'm not a blind hunter, I move from spot to spot like a hen might do. Sitting in a ground blind for more than 20 minutes while hunting turkey and I'd be looking for a new hobby........ I usually bring a water bottle with me as some of my hunts may be uphill/down hill and take me until noon time or so. Cough drops or hard candy are a good idea. Good luck!

Congrats on the bird! Are you restricted to hunting out of blinds on a hunt like that? Why not the more conventional way of being in the woods? Just curious.......

I wonder what the survival rate will be on those 8 pups. 25% will make it for a year?
-
I've heard about them in hollowed out trees before. I even have a story.......................................................... Don't even ask.

Going to get a new BBQ, might just bite the bullet and get a Weber.

EXCELLENT! You'll really enjoy it. We grill year round and you should also! -
Here is the Coke bottle I mentioned earlier. I don't think it is that old, just from an era that is looooooong gone. This heavy (14 fl oz) glass bottle only holds 6oz of Coke! I couldn't imagine what a truck load of these babies must have weighed! The quality of this find is nothing special either but here it is.........

In 2007 a buddy gave me a couple shells to try out in my gun. They patterned beautifully in my Benelli. I went and grabbed a box and almost choked on the price. Well, just for the fun of it I kept score. Each time I killed with one of those shells I'd write it down on the inside box flap. Funny thing, 6 shots, 6 birds. Four shells left, think I can go 10/10? We'll see. I have been kind of loosing my fire for spring gobbler season but maybe I'll get stoked up (what a gay saying) and get back into it hard again. Think I got my money's worth out of these??

My buddy killed nothing but had a very eventful day. There's always tomorrow. Ahhhhh crap.......I forgot, you CAN'T hunt in PA on Sunday. Crazy............

Don't be afraid of shipping. All you need to do is make sure it goes to an FFL. Take it to the post office, insure it and send it to the FFL. Easy as pie............ (you don't have to insure it but you should) The USPS DOES NOT NEED TO KNOW WHAT IS IN THE PACKAGE. Just answer the questions that the clerk will ask. (He/she will NOT ask WHAT is inside) they say liquid, perishable, hazardous blah blah blah batteries. <grin> You, as an individual, can ship that anywhere in the country as long as it goes to an FFL. You don't even need a copy of the FFL's license. All you need to do is verify that the FFL is legit and there is a web site for it. If you need it, I'll get it for you. Don't pass up a sale!! Any questions, I'll forward you a web site for help.
