Have you shot many bucks that would measure over 110"? If you killed a 150" buck you wouldn't get it measured for NYS BB club? Do you live in New York State?

Maybe you don't get out in the woods enough. I think half the crap the "ranchers & biologists" are saying is anything more than a sales pitch. Where are you seeing that stuff, in magazines and on TV? Credible..... "Trust the words of any deer farmer when it comes to anything about deer health"? Better be careful with that......

Why even guess how old he is? What's the difference? Until he is on the ground, you'll never know. Even then, aging a deer is very difficult. If you knew for sure he was 2.5yrs old, would you let him walk?

O.K., who will admit (grin) to taking one of their children or somebody elses on the Youth Deer Hunt? Maybe next year I'll take my daughter. The notification came to late and I don't think she is too thrilled about it. Maybe its the cigars? If not, I have my eye's on a neighbor kid for two years from now........(grin)

How do you use the bones, sinew, trimmings, hide, skull, brains etc.?

Salting and storing them until they can be sold it too lttle for too much crapin' around for me. Like I posted above, mine usually go to a trapper friend who prepares them with his other bounty and then sells them or I donate to a butcher who sells them. All depends on the logistics of the timing. Sometimes, depending on weather or my schedule, they get tossed and that bothers me.
