  1. Well? Anybody make it out?
  2. Anybody know when the drawing is?
  3. Fertilizer for one of your food plots? Back to Nature.
  4. What are you shooting them out of and what type of shaft?
  5. Even in PA they'll pinch a loaf in the bush........
  6. Condolences on your uncle. At least you got popular chamberings in your stash. What scale do you have? How about the rest of the goodies?
  7. Hunting18........WTF would someone as sharp as a outfitter put a trail camera CENTERED on a stump? Enlighten me.
  8. Looks like he is rubbing his face into the bait on the stump.
  9. Who is going? Birds/fields/permisssion all locked down? Dekes preped and ready? Dog in tip top shape? Thermos cleaned? Bug spray still potent? Gun plugged? Duck stamp & HIP number all in place? vaccinations up to date? (YOU, not the dog) I used to do quite a bit of it but got tired of all the running around trying to secure permission and chase down the birds in different fields all the time. Then, it seems like all the good hunts were next to or too close to houses and even though it might have been 500' plus, I didn't feel comfortable banging so close to kids, dogs and tree huggers. If I got a call next week to accompany someone on a hunt, I'd load up all the appropriate gear and do my part to help all the golfers and local soccer players. How do you like your coffee and what is your favorite donut? <grin>
  10. Mus Clean the Cheetos from your mouse...................<grin>
  11. I haven't gotten PTO in 27 years. I take time off when I can and need. Seems as though most of the time off is in November, odd isn't it?? I don't schedule too many days off other than Opening Day of gun in NY & PA and a few days in late October for the early ML hunt in PA. The rest of my time away is taken when I am not as busy or the freezer is running low. <grin>

Looks like I'm a day late. Well, Happy belated Birthday!
  13. Note my post above.........pointers, places to hit OR miss?
  14. When are you going? Staying over night? Have a place to recommend? Do you have a plan of where to view or just runnin' & gunnin'? <grin> I've been thinking of going this fall also. Take the wife for a quickie overnighter. I checked the Google thing this morning and it is about 150 miles to Benezette PA for me. Tips, anybody??
  15. Your talking in circles. Is this a continuation of something you have already posted about? Your not making tons of sense. From what I can gather, you need a deerthug. (lawyer)
  16. Could be some extra doe tags available for $26.50........
  17. Head on down to Pennsylvania with the xbow. They'd Looooooove to see you!!
  18. "Awards" doesn't mean squat. It'd be like kissing your sister........... 170" is the number. This is from the B&C web site: Awards Program records books have been subsequently published every three years, the year following the close of each Awards Program. Thus, there is an all-time records book every six years and an Awards Program records book every three years. The two differ in important ways. The all-time records book includes all trophies over current all-time minimum entry scores and meets other stated requirements that have been entered since the beginning of the system. The Awards Program records book includes only those trophies of the stated three-year Awards Program, as based on the lower entry minimums applicable for many categories. Thus, a good many trophies get recognition in the Awards Program records book that cannot qualify for listing in the all-time records book. The inclusion of the hunting stories and photos of the trophies receiving awards makes the Awards Program records book a uniquely enjoyable book for the trophy hunter, while the all-time records book provides the definitive answers to questions regarding statistics for native North American big game.
  19. All those monster bucks on trail cams seem to shrink when the rubber meets the road............. 170" to "make" the record book for B&C. That buck doesn't make it.
  20. 1) Your deer will adapt very fast to a dog in the area. 2) Check with the local police. (I'm sure they love those type of calls) Good luck catching the pooch! I wouldn't worry too much about a dog running around. Check with the neighbors and see who has a dog that looks like your movie star. Advise them to keep 'em tied up.
  21. Congrats you lucky bastids! Have room for one more guy?? <grin> Maybe, JUST maybe we'll get the green light next year for Ontario County.
