  1. Wow I bet you highfalutin traders are buying up a storm today!!! With the market taking a nose dive, this is when the balsy buyers jump!!!
  2. Keep them coming, it’s a good show!!
  3. That picture wasn’t so good, bad angle. Lol Streamlight ProTac 1L for size reference.
  4. Gene Wiseman Model B I believe. I’ve had it about 10 years or so, happily I haven’t misplaced it.
  5. He's killed them on the wing with a shotgun, why couldn't he do it with archery gear? 50 could be low, maybe 75 with stick & string?
  6. First off watching YouTube or TV hunters hunting from blinds or from behind a tree out west is a far cry from hunters trying for an eastern gobbler the same way. You're the last guy here to be questioning anything spring gobbler related........
  7. You and everybody else are missing the point. Making a move on a bird close to you within shooting range is totally different than calling blind from behind a boulder and peeking your head over the top (or sides) as your trying to call a gobbler in. If you can pull that off, you are the Master. If you know a bird is right there and you slide out and pop him, well that's no big deal, a Brownie Scout could do that. Now if a guy was just resting his gun and call on the boulder and blind calling, hoping for a distant gobble, well that's a different deal but to try and hide behind a rock and peek out once in a while thinking you'll get the drop on an approaching Tom is ludicrous.
  8. If a turkey sees a head bobbing up and around a rock, he’s history. Don’t tell me they’ll tolerate it. Oh sure, you can slowly pick your gun up and kill a bird but you only have one shot at it before the gig is up. To be “hiding” behind a VW sized Boulder and peaking out, while watching for an approaching LB is an amateur move. I think Bill was just looking for a photo opportunity and wasn’t really doing what he said.....
  9. How the heck did he loose his beard? Regardless, he’s got a free pass for this year (and maybe forever??) as a spring gobbler MUST have a visible beard. Lol....I hope the rest of ‘em don’t figure it out.
  10. LOL those public land birds sure tolerate much more than private land birds!! Do they stick around and give you time to level the gun too?
  11. Congratulations on the fish but GET THAT TUB OFF THE STOVE!!!!!! I hope Nomad doesn’t see that.........
  12. That’s an interesting setup. It’s going to be pretty difficult to keep an eye on the approaching gobbler, if one responds.
  13. Just about every day I wear DT socks.....by far the best I've ever worn.
  14. Just a horrible feeling to see your rig get dunked like that. I watch (get sucked down the Youtube rabbit hole) videos of that stuff then have nightmares.
  15. Two things: I guess I’m correct on the doctors note for a draw lock and nowhere did I reference a gun.
