So I always keep my hunting cloths in a rubber made plastic bin with a lid. I usually throw some ears of corn or walnuts. I was thinking about a scented candle to throw in there, maybe apple or a pine scent? What do u think? Stupid?

My general rule is 8pts or better. When I go hunting im looking for a big challenge. I usually will take a doe early and get the immediate pressure off of having meat for the freezer.

My 2 buddies and I polished off 40 doz clams yesterday. I farted this morning and almost passed out from the stank!! Great weekend!! Tomorrow is one last day to spend with my boy b4 he heads off to kindergarten

Typically I try with a few grunts with the buck merely stopping to look my direction then continuing on. Then ill try a couple bleats along with a couple more grunts, if that doesn't work then ill rattle. Usually I end up watching him walk away.

This seems to happen a lot to me during bow season. I see a big buck walking thru the area at maybe 100yrds away, either walking across in front or in back of me or walking away from me. I make some calls but he doesn't commit. What would u do? Nothing or make a call?

I use the CVA Optima,but not sure I see the value in the electra. If you have the powder & bullets why not just have the primer. I wouldn't wanna mess around with a battery at all let alone trust it day in and day out.

set another one up in the same spot, then set a diff cam up in a tree pointed down!! Maybe that will work.

Done with Food Plots till next yr!!

CF. I roto till the plot by hand. I spread the seed blend (from pheasants forever) then I re roto till then drive over it with my garden tractor. I hadn't applied any fert on it until today. Mike I cant for the life of me figure out how to download the pics from my email to desktop. I use to open the pic and save to my d top, this one I cant. -

The peas are from Whitetail Inst. I get all my seed at Turners in Hemlock -
Ugh, long day but im done!! The first pic is from my dads land. We've cleared out a good 1/2 to 3/4 acres the past couple yrs. Today we cleared the overgrown plot and re planted. The other three are in my back yrd. 2nd pic is the clover, chicory & alfalfa. The 3rd is were I just planted WI winter peas and the last is my corn, sunflower and sorghums. Sorry if the pics are small I just got a new laptop and I hate it because I cant figure it out.
