I cant wait to hear that first gobble on the roost. Taking part in a very fun volunteer hunt on opening day & hopefully we can get our guests some birds!!

Sounds like ur close to our land in the hills. Did u get the corn to grow well. Again our ph was in the mid 4's after 2yrs were in the mid 5's. Somethings we planted started well then struggled.

Yeah the guy at turners agway is great and has a ton of inventory. Plus I think u almost go back in time when you go walk in!! Great people and I think good prices.

Good point... I took a branch to the head last fall clearing a spot for a ground blind. Good times gone bad!! Ended up with a few staples to the head!!

Ha..naw magnum was in refering to woolys dogs name. Our list so far is mocha, gracie, molly, georgia & sammie so far.

Magnum (thats what she said) wooly. My buddys dogs named genny after the beer!! We got a couple name to add to our mix. I love the responses, it brings back some good memories of current and past dogs for all of us!!

Thanks for the re-assurance everyone!! I always grew up with short hair pointers & somehow ended up wanting labs. I guess they fit my personality!! Lawdwaz.. no pics yet if we pull the trigger we cant get her until the late Feb

I dont really see it as an issue either. Maybe i'll see if my wife can take our dog over for a visit with the pup first.

I have a 2yr old female yellow lab & looked at a female lab puppy tonight. I have heard mixed opinions. Some say get a male because 2 females may fight? Any help would be great!!

I agree with everyone but Tony. I'm pretty experienced with investment options and have seen the value with most retiree's I know. Next you will tell us cd's are the place to be.. -

Hey growalot, do u know what your lowest ph starting point was? I have been slowly working on a spot that started at 4 something and the last time I checked it was about 5.5ph. Im also using bagged lime.

I agree, I posted this just for the fact the odds of shooting this deer and getting a picture of him and the shot placement 9day later is amazing. I call it hitting the lottery. I was so releaved when I got a pic of him. Stupid me for blowing a chip shot.

Wooly I thought id be alone on this, glad ur with me!! phade I like were your going here.(thats what she said) Off hand id have to say almost half the arrow. I'll never forget the sound on impact. Previous 4 deer taken with my bow were all clean pass thru shots with muzzys broadheads.

I was sitting middle section maybe 7 rows from the top close to the end. Had a camo pullover and yankee cap. I think we were within spitting distance. Drive safe!!
