Peas never made it to the house ( I love peas)!! Everything is growing great except the carrots, still pretty small. My sunflowers are almost all full bloom!! f150 im with you weeds weeds weeds.

Thanks. I working on making it the best 3 acres in Liv Co. Basically my house and yard is about 1 1/2 acres and the rest leads into an over grown field that ends at the edge of a corner wood lot. Next yr I think I will open it up some more and add some soybeans to the mix!!

Thanks gl. I had been thinking about oats and or winter peas? My goal is variety even though im not working with much of an area.

So I have one plot with cover, chicory & alfalfa, another with corn, buckwheat and sunflowers. The last one had brassica's the past two yrs. Its a pretty small area, maybe only 100ft x 50ft. Its tucked right next to the woods. I'm in competition with Soybeans across the road and corn on the other side of the woods. Also keep in mind my 3 plots are on about 1 1/2 acres of my 3 acre lot with house!!

Damn phade that's a crap load of pics. About 5yrs ago I bought two wildeviews at dicks for like $80.00 then had to buy rechargeable batteries and replace them every week. Both died last fall, maybe in store for 2 mp6's!!

Looks great!! Where you gonna set me up Oct 1st . Ive only planted WI and have always been happy. One yr I did plant wintergreens in a small 1/4 acre and the deer killed them b4 bow season, leaving me nothing going into the season.

Pretty sick. Its quite sad how media gives these scum bags so much face time. Can we make a case to give any and all of these scum bags no press when they do something? Only thing that cover is good for is to wipe my a#$ with.

Overnight I lost a huge limb on my apple tree, basically the whole one side. Damn, I even trimmed the heck out of it a few weeks ago when we had all that rain. All my trees have so many apples its adding a lot of stress to the limbs. I'll have to evaluate the other trees this weekend.

I decided to prune some of my apple and pear trees today. With the mass crop and all this rain some of the branches were hanging really low and I was worried limbs might break with all that weight.

Took a country drive today down around Honeoye, driving down a road and a baby bear stood next to the road!! Pretty cool, only the 2nd one I've seen.

Well kinda. How's the PH? Deff should have planted later than you did. Im not a fan of that type of blend. My guess would be the soil ph isn't high enough for the seed? anyone else agree? -

Pretty cool pics!! I would guess a trap. Thats to bad for the bear. i dont get why people feed birds yr round. To me it doesnt make since.

the plots in my bk yrd. Its a blend of bw, corn, sunflowers and sorghums. The idea is to provide food now and later. I also have clover,chicory and alfalfa in another spot. I hope the hen turkey I just saw bk there is taking advantage of it!!

No they havent really hit the the buckwheat yet, the corn is almosy knee high!!
