I heard amazon may get into pharmaceuticals (I believe they filed for overseas). Other than our government dismantling them because they are big, probably too big, not much is gonna slow them down.

Been super busy and got behind. So last weekend was the championship game for our town league, son had a hr and pitched 3 good innings giving up 4 runs 2 earned but the rest of the team were duds and we lost 8-3. 11u travel teams last tournament is this weekend and then my sons moving up to 13u which first practice is tomorrow! Super excited as his team is stacked with talent and my son is playing in his grade but is young. Plus they are keeping a roster spot on the 12u so he can play both of the schedule aligns periodically!

Gosh it seems so long ago I started this. Well obviously corona delayed getting things going and baseballs been full swing but is starting to slow down. Needless to say we’re behind but moving forward. We stopped at the bow show to get him fitted for arrows and have begun target shooting. So far so good shooting at a broadside target, we talked about judging distance and angle shots and how you need to adjust your shot for quartering shots. Once he gets comfortable will move to elevated shots.

How often do you check your Trail Cams?
Zag replied to Northcountryman's topic in Trail Camera Pictures
I usually keep my cams near a 4wheeler path so I can access them from the wheeler and hopefully limit my sent each time I check them. Or I will locate them along my route to stand to again limit sent. -
Cell service is good, the property is in what I’d call a fairly populated area but kind of a hidden away spot which is right up my alley.

I’ve basically giving up on this land. We walked it yesterday and had good timber and value which could help offset some cost of say the 1700ft stone driveway I would need. To run electric the est with poles was $23,000. I have spent days on the phone with spectrum (it was painful) there is service down the road a 1/2 mile away but they cannot tell me if I could get service or not (I’m still scratching my head as to why they can’t tell me). I’ve heard nothing good about satellite internet service either.

It’s a nice bag, I have one myself!

Yeah they have been terrible lately. I bought an item off eBay and it eventually gave me a tracking number but when I check it said usps was waiting for the package to arrive at their facility. The seller had to open an investigation and I was in the process of trying to get a refund when the package arrived with zero tracking history. I have another eBay package that hasn’t been updated since Friday so I have no freaking clue where it’s at. But yeah go ahead and vote my mail, a holes

Sounds like he was on!!

My biggest concern is how long the gravel driveway would need to be (1600ft). I’m gonna work on some estimates next week.

Thanks for that, guess I’d have to brown nose the hell out of the town!!

Great point on lumber costs, I would imagine it would be a while before we built if we go this route!

Thanks AD, I’m very fortunate to have close family friends who have businesses in excavation, electrical, lumber company and builders!!

Ok so I’m in the ball park with my figures then. Thanks!!

Guys, my wife and I are thinking about either looking for a bigger home or possibly buying a piece of land and building. There is a nice piece of land 20 acres further south of our current home and it’s still in the same school dist. So im wondering new build costs per square foot, I’m guessing the range in my county (Livingston) is probably around $150?

So as far as I know were renting a large lake house with a pool with a couple other parents. I’m hoping with covid they don’t have they stay there and he can hand at the lake house and swim! Man 1996, must have been fun! I’ve been to c town but not to Dreams park. I’m hoping with his size and ability he’s cracking HR’s with ease there!

Well travel ball has a break before one last tournament Labor Day weekend. Tryouts were done for next yr, my son just turned 12 the end of May and was playing on an 11u team, he’s moving up with the coach to 13u starting starting soon and into next yr. Im happy to have him now be the youngest on the team and looking up to other players. One bonus is next yr the program will have a 12u Cooperstown only team so my son will be able to play down and experience c town!!

Maybe I’ll try a scare crow for fun!!

Ok thanks, Ive thought about getting a bunch of straw. Last yr we had no issues as the plot was new but now they call it home which is nice but damn them birds!!

How much havoc can specifically turkey’s have on eating food plot seed. I planted 2 weeks ago and took a look at the plot last night and I have a munch of bare spots. I kicked 2 toms out upon arrival and my trail cam has these 2 birds visiting all the time and there are a fair amount of feathers.

I’m gonna have to track this damn bird down for a pic
