What’s the issue with insurance?? I’ve heard that before but it’s never made since to me as other teams are playing out of town/state. Our local little league is firing up in 2 weeks. We are supposed to travel to buffalo this coming weekend for a tournament but haven’t heard if we’re allowed to come.

Deer movement advice on a large clear cut

Like I mentioned, strategically make trails based on say wind, stand location and so on. Deer will take the path of least resistance in many cases and you could funnel one right by a stand. -

Deff cut some trails strategically thru it otherwise if it’s a tangled mess they will be going around it which could be ok. The more you leave the less browse pressure you have for what’s growing!! -
I got a grainy night pic a couple weeks ago and found his track. One got hit on 390 close to roch a week or so ago.

Sorry for your loss

I’m of the camp, do it once and never worry again. It’s still exposed to the outdoors and won’t last as long and at some point you will have to address again. And really it’s not a huge cost to get p treated. Sell you leftovers on clist

Yep agree 100%. Our food plot we put in last year is in a good spot. Why only a good spot?? It’s fairly close to our neighbors and wind direction isn’t always ideal when approaching but it was a fairly useless part of our property for food and cover and it was level and near bedding!

Thanks guys, I call him my 3 acre buck, first one taken in my back yard!!

Well I got down to pick up my mount today and my sons claimed it for his room which is fine by me! I literally shot him, cleaned him out got him hung and had to run to baseball practice and my dad ended up taking him to the taxi in the morning so I never got a ton of time to look him over. Anyways my taxi called be awhile back and said hey I got the cape back and its pretty beat up, do u want me to use or find and alt cape. I sure don’t want some other cape, and i was kinda taken back by it not recalling anything odd about him (it was during a mini snowstorm so his coat was wet). I sad keep him as he was and went back thru my photos and you can see it. Maybe he tangled with a fence or got the shit kicked out of him a bunch of times. FYI I only dragged him like 10yrds and the rest of the drag was in the bucket of the tractor.

That stinks, our travel team said they may try extending the season into the fall if possible. In our state it’s hard to see how football will happen at all at this point.

Yeah the gov mentioned something Friday about new restrictions and no traveling or tournaments. So annoying
-
Think we stopped at the same spots
-
Well she arrived to her destination. Wasn’t to bad getting her back.
-
My sons 11u team is back practicing but more tournaments are canceling and as of now only have 2 still on. One I Elmira and Ripken. We might travel to an event in Kentucky for baseball youth the end of July to play some damn ball. Our little league is still shooting for July return which is great because most around here have canceled.

I’d start at either end and drive the whole thing. Here’s the bridge from a month or two ago

Picked her up the other day
