Kind of but this bird I saw was much bigger.

So the last week or so I’ve been hearing this god of full nose in my neighbors pine trees, it sounds like a kitten screeching for the mother. My other neighbor has a bunch of cats so I thought I was correct. Well I just saw a decent size bird ( maybe a foot tall) land on my neighbor’s roof. My trucks in the shop so I couldn’t glass it and didn’t think about trying to zoom in a pic. Any ideas?

Here’s an odd stat I found last night on GameChanger AB/HR (at bats per home run) he’s at 9. Is that good? I have no idea how to even reference those against anything.

Well as the season is slowing down before we transition here’s some of his stats thru 16 games Batting avg .611, obp.714, ops 1.770, slg 1.056. He led the team in just about every category as he should being the oldest.

Well we lost in the championship game against a 12u big school team (we’re 11u) by 1 run this evening! My son hit a nuke in the 4th inning 280ft over center field. I was able to gauge the distance as it landed in front of the 1st base dugout on the other fields bringing us to a 4-7 deficit. It was a freaking shot!! now we’re bottom of the final inning same score down 3, we have 2 runners on bases and my sons up (batting 4th) in my mind I’m thinking let’s go kid this is what we practice hit a hr and tie the game, he swings and drills one deep and it hit the upper part of the center field fence and stays in, we ended up losing 7-6. Good game tho

Our games sucked today, were playing in an 11u & 12u tourney and this am’s game was nuts my son walked 5 times in 3 innings, pitching for him was terrible and we won 38-0, up that’s right we stopped stealing long before these numbers. It was sad to watch. 2nd games was a little better at 18 zip, son had 2 walks and a pop up rbi. On to tomorrow and they should get a little more competitive I hope. My son hates slow pitching!

Yeah they are pretty damn cool and I’ll post some once I get them done. Yeah I was hoping I could fine a local place to just copy.

So my grandfather passed away about 8 yrs ago and my grandmother just passed. Well my dad found a large box of WWll pics he didn’t know about, my grandfather was in the army and was commissioned to photograph the war and he has a ton of black & white photos of Germany, many post destruction, really cool to look at. Anyways is it easy to copy black and white photos? Can I just go to say Walgreens or Walmart? Any guidance would be appreciated!

Team ended up winning!! Combined games today went 4-4, 4 RBI’s, 2 walks and a hr!!

In the early stages of game 1, my 90yr old grandmother passed away this am and my sons first at bat launched one over center field for 2 runs (thanks gram)

And it’s freaking hot!! Just finished game 2 today. Travel team won this am and a loss at the local town team.

Team won easily tonight, son went 2-3 with a walk and 4 RBI’s. Really proud of my son, he always wants to be the first one there and tonight after the game he took me back to the cages at the fields to hit more before leaving. Needless to say we were the last to leave!

What type of owl. I had one I saw quite often in the woods one year, kinda like he was following me around. I hear they all the time when we camp there.

We watched the last 30min of my sons practice. His 1 coach (former mlb pitcher) it throwing live bp while some are shaggin balls or playing there infield positions. My son get the call up to bat, all the kids start talking and running further into the outfield. I’ve never seen him hit the ball so far, well and consistently at just over 12 yrs old. My wife and I were in awe as were the parents watching near us. I wish I recorded it.

Drove up there to see what they had for food plot seed, well they hardly had any seed but what pissed me off was the $$$$$$$ of deer attractant inventory they had stocked on the shelves. So ridiculous.

Ok thanks appreciate it. I know his coach is big on swinging first pitch as my son bats in the 4 hole.

Ok got ya. So it’s early in the season for us only 6 games deep with his travel team so it’s hard to judge at this point I guess. How many games played before you can really look at the batting avg?

So question for you baseball guys. What is a high level batting avg for a 12yr old? Over 500?
