been in the weed ETF (MJ) a few weeks now. Printed good money yesterday, lost a bunch this morning. The beauty of the ETF is that the lows aren't as low, but of course the highs aren't as high. Pun accidently intended there haha. Don't let the dip scare you though. I'd maybe wait to buy more, but this is a long play.

I have no issue with urban hunting either, and for those that are slaughtering the doe I commend them. I would say that personally I enjoy the quietness of the big woods and while I can still here the loud truck or motorcycle and occasional barking dog where I hunt, it's still a nice escape. At my old house I had a stand on 5 acres. There were days I saw 20+ deer and had a few slammers running around. But I was so close to houses that I just didn't enjoy the hunt as much.

gotcha. The fact that he killed both of these in one sit (while not insane if there was a hot doe around) just adds to my skepticism though.

When you open facebook, IG, huntingny etc for a few minutes during a commercial break from a game you're watching how far do you REALLY scroll though? For me I take breaks at work and that usually just means a glance at the front page. If you're on mobile, the scrolling is even harder. I have no issue with political banter. I've often proposed, but never seem to get my wish that there be a dedicated thread for politics. It would be no different from live from the woods, what are you eating, beer, lawn etc. We already have a pretty good precedent on this site for lumping stuff together so those who enjoy it can dip in and those that don't can't scroll past. That's all I'm asking for here. I've said my peace. the point of my post went way the f over your head and why you bringing weed into this old man?

I scroll the "unread content" of this HUNTING forum and a lot of good stuff falls down and never gets seen because of the political clutter. The 20 or so active users a day aren't changing their political opinions. Go post stuff on facebook if you need to reach an audience. I haven' said anything for a while, because you're right i don't have to click. But you seem to be picking up steam lately.

yeah SAVA wasn't a huge crash, but a gradual freefall from a high of 115 and then well below the 75 I bought it at. Probably will ride it out till phase 3 of their trials.

11/25 there's a lot going on. Now it's dead as *&^%. This is absolutely hilarious and I'm so happy I saw it.

I had only minor, conservative investments for a while and recently with some extra cash decided to invest more. Every chart I look at, I cringe and "wish" I would have got in during the huge crash last march. Everything is booming right now, and some talking heads say the correction already happened and others say its coming. Guess that's why they call it gambling. I absolutely learned with SAVA crashing yesterday that I need to be more careful with stop-losses.

I went on ETF on both as i'm just not sure who is going to hit in those spaces. gambling is fun...

it seems that you were betting on big gains coming. I'm not sold on that, even if you're up now and yes I agree they likely wont tank. Just not that getting in now would equate to a big boom.

booze is interesting right now. Bars and events crushed, at home drinking sky rocketing. Pot is almost a no brainer in my opinion. Sit home and smoke... more states legalizing it every year.

These past few weekends and upcoming weekend have been brutal. I've really wanted to go squirrel hunting during the day and predator hunting at night, but these temps are just brutal! So glad I was out on all those nicer weekends in early January.

yeah the money i invested in amc and gme is from my fun money account. I will openly admit to be fortunate enough that it's not a small amount, but i'm not really risking anything but future toys.

well the fact that a company worth 2-3B is valued at 20+ shows that they got something right. The question of course is just how high and when to jump? Right now I'm out at 350 if it hits that because I'm just over the rollercoaster. Maybe 300 this afternoon if it's not trending one way or the other.

same. this shit is not good for my health. the dip down to 115 was super stressful. Not a fan and going back to long term.
