it's not spread easily through "lingering" air. It's spread by touching a surface where the sneeze or cough landed and then spreading it to yourself by touching your eye, nose, mouth etc. So long as you don't directly walk into somebodies cough or sneeze cloud you'll be ok. I'm not hear to change your mind, just trying to spread some knowledge. I have almost 10k people that i'm trying to protect right now across the globe and so far we've had no confirmed cases and have not provided a single mask to our essential employees. Yes it's a matter of time I'm sure, but just throwing that out there.

same. first time ever, even with the flu shot last year. 4 or 5 days of crap, then a few days thinking I was better and then regression for another 2 or 3 before I was back on my feet. All told probably 2 weeks to really get fully back. They say it's less severe with the shot, and I can't imagine it getting much worse than it was.

I understand why many are wearing face masks. Makes them feel safe, but in reality they're really unnecessary unless you're directly treating infected people who may cough or sneeze on you. The best thing we can do is wear gloves, or simply wash your hands. I would encourage those that have a stockpile to donate them to the hospitals. My company just donated 540 yesterday.

the government has clearly stated if you're going shopping for things you need, you shouldn't be taking your whole family with you. That if at all possible, go by yourself and go quickly. The fact that someone thought they would pack up their teen daughter and their dog and go browse the new grills (that's where they were), tells me they aren't really understanding the whole social distancing thing. went to lowes on sunday. First day I left the house in a while but I needed a few things for some projects that are helping me keep my sanity. I was amazed to see a few families there, including 1 that brought their dog. Like, the whole idea for lowes being open is in case something breaks and you need to fix it, not for a leisurely family trip you f'n idiots. We're all in this shit together and you're not helping!
