I agree, it is already a part of the back ground checks, I'm not sure how it could be increased and used more effectively. In fact I don't think it would have mattered in the CT shootings, it is just more knee jerk reaction to things and may in fact cause more collateral damage through folks not seaking treatment.

My attentions on what? Pointing out facts that are being misreported on this site? Or me pointing out that some people claim "every one" wants our guns yet can't back their claims up? Face it, high capacity mags and AR guns are going to be on the hit list along with mental health and background checks. Isn't it better to focus on the reality of whats going to happen rather than what didn't happen?

False. "In the school shooting, Connecticut Chief Medical Examiner H. Wayne Carver said all 26 victims were hit multiple times, suffering "devastating" wounds, all apparently traced to the rifle. Connecticut State Police Lt. Paul Vance said Sunday that the shooter used "multiple" 30-round rifle magazines in the attack" "All the victims at the school were shot with a rifle, at least some of them up close, and all were apparently shot more than once, Chief Medical Examiner Dr. H. Wayne Carver said. There were as many as 11 shots on the bodies he examined."

Venison Wellington is on my short list to make this winter, I made Beef Wellington last Christmas for my whole family. This is a good one but I would add Goose liver pate to the Duxelles.... http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/tyler-florence/the-ultimate-beef-wellington-recipe2/index.html

Personal attacks? Thats a stretch, I asked him a question and you replied like I asked you. I can't veiw your video at my work by the way but I am sure it doesn't contain the names of the 80% of politicians that want all of our guns like he stated. edit to say I went on my phone to see you posted a video of one senator from California.

The season is coming to an end. Curious to hear what everyone got.

1 doe 10/14 bow 1 buck 11/16 bow 1 buck 11/17 rifle 1 doe 12/08 shot gun Brother 1 buck 11/17 shotgun, 30 minutes after I connected. My wife missed one on Black Friday, only hunted twice and had encounters both times next to me in the stand. Hunted with Elmer Fudd from here and grunted in a buck that he nearly got a crack at during bow. Didn't keep a count on deer sightings this year but saw a bunch, saw some every time out. More this year than last year and I saw @70 last year and gun hunted far less last year. So I would say I had a good season and awesome fall. Salmon fished for the first time, bird hunted in Maine and had a great time every single weekend since September and now I am going back to grouse hunting. Loving life!!! -
What type hat would you like? Camo, Santa, Huntingny, Blaze Orange or the Pygmy Special. (hint it has a neked lady on it)
-
Also Pygmy I hope you don't mind but I am wearing your hat in my office right now. So far only one guy wanted to know why I was wearing a hat with Santa drawn on it and Pygmy written underneath it. Most of my employee's are used to me wearing them I guess?

Not so fast, I have three dozen made up ready for shipping at $1.75 a pop, even some with red and green on them for the season. Maybe we can get one with a Hunting NY logo on it?

We go every year and cut our own with the kids, one of my most favorite days and I gladly take the day off from hunting to do it. It has taken a few years to perfect the size of the tree, seems like we had a few that were too short or too tall, this year I picked it and went with the biggest sob I could squeeze in my living room, more room for presents that way! We go for a Concolur Fir which gives an citrus smell, love it. One year way back I went and got a big tree and set it up and came back a few hours later to a tipped over tree, it was so large that I had to go out and get a bigger stand..lol
