I just blink and turn my head out of the wind, or I cover up with a Grey Squirrel on my face. Ever try that Grow? lol

You can pick up a grinder for 100-150, and a scale for $25, or a gambrel for about $25-30. Makes life much easier.
-
I use a new invention called a tissue or an older one called a hankercheif. Can you post a pic of you in the googles? (I spelled it google on purpose)
-
nice like "fact". Its not hard to be "way up" when you start at a few and increase to a few more. Why on earth would I wear a sports coat and tie? I don't live in the English country side and its not 50 years ago.

I think Taco bell would be better suited to handle a carcass...hehe
-
I know you know, but when you qouted me it looked like I said it...I aint that smart. lol

Its important to note that most of mypost that John was replying to was a cut and paste from the DEC, I injected that last part.

Honestly I don't care about AR's, I just love to mess with guys like you and NYantler. I am the freezer filler for my hunting party, my brother is the big buck killer. That is a fawn pointer, I use him to point out new born deer so I can go up and club em to death. (JK) It is a Wirehaired Pointing Griffon

Right its up 258%..don't argue with me ask the DEC http://www.dec.ny.gov/docs/wildlife_pdf/arsummary11.pdf
-
Yes the same majority that supports voluntary AR's(54%), and the same majority that totals up to @2000 state wide over a few years worth of survey's. Staggering.
-
"mandatory ARs are not necessary to maintain a healthy deer herd in New York. Statewide pre-season adult sex ratios average about 1.6 adult doe per adult buck; yearling antler beam diameters indicate deer are in good physical condition; and more than 94% of adult female deer are being bred with more than 86% of conceptions occurring within a 28-day period centered in mid-November. Also, the yearling portion of the statewide buck take has been dropping, without mandatory ARs, from greater than 70% in the early 1990s to less than 55% in 2011. Still, DEC frequently hears comments from hunters such as, “we need antler restrictions, because the adult sex ratios are strongly skewed and deer breeding is compromised,” or “because the older bucks have all but disappeared in my area”, but data do not support these perceptions. In fact, hunters are taking more older-age bucks in NY now than ever before in our recorded history of deer hunting " any of that ring a bell? Adult buck take of 3.5 and up has not increased a whole lot in most of the AR areas, 2.5's however are getting hammered like they would have before AR's at 1.5.

Probaly busy with work? He might see it later to help you out, is that your dad's? Nice buck.
-
So because he would work with deer means he is not allowed to say he wouldn't call fenced operations hunting? You are a tool!
-
Who are you to decide who is getting their ass handed to them? What a complete tool you are, I think most of us are getting tired of your three day sob fest, move along if you don't like it.
-
Sure you lost the pictures...lol (just kidding) I shoot a 29 inch arrow, 13.6 gpi, plus 100 grain head, plus weight of fletching and inserts etc. and 70 pounds.
-
Let us know when you can shoot through a leg bone. lol My set up is heavy enough to go through a Elephant, the broadhead is only part of the equation.
-
My best spot has a creek 40 yards away, the wind blows my scent to the creek and then down stream, perfect.

Cool trip!

"This is a trip for the love of dog work and seeing birds and the wide open spaces" AMEN! Both my dogs love to run, especially the Wirehair and I love to just watch them go. Thanks a bunch for the info, sounds like heaven for wild bird hunting out there.
-
No different than what you do in every AR thread Joe, I know, I know, DEC is wrong because you don't agree with them.
-
Sounds like the little devils were running in a pack, better watch out next time they might jump on you from above.
-
Yes we need pics. Hehe good to see a few other bird hunters here.
-
I need more info so I can live vicariously here, rough flush count? Dead bird count? State land or private? Rough estimate of cost? We are heading for northern Maine next Thursday for ruffies and woodies can't wait.
