    Listen to this guy he knows what he is talking about! I also use IC/Mod on the over under and my 870 I primarily use a IC, same with my other shot guns too. Sometimes a Mod choke is better for further shots at Pheasants, depends on the shooter.

    Coming from a guy in the food biz that is sound advice and spot on. Just try to avoid unneeded risks with meat of any kind, cook to proper temp and or cool to proper temp and enjoy.

    We do one simular but use a can of gravy instead of Crm of mushroom, its a heck of a multi use meal. After the stew we make it into soups and freeze as stew to (obviously). We also use a roast and slow cook it either in a stock pot or the slow cooker, so then you could have a roast, stew and soup all in one. We love it! Had it yesterday as a matter of fact and will have left overs tonight in the form of soup.

    We drag across a running stream in our one spot with no issues in the last 14 or so years. Deer float which makes the water crossing the easy part, the 12 foot bank we go up how ever is hard to get a deer up.

    We skin outside now due to ticks, and do the rest on a giant cutting board int he basement.

    Slaughter houses skin and decapitate the animals so it really doesn't matter there either, this is a personal preference issue. I guareentee we all hang deer the same way our fathers or mentors did. We start with the neck and then start skinning on the ground before hanging by the legs, only because it is easier for us to do our work on them, we leave the heart and lungs in untill we get home because it is just easier to get them out on the hook off the ground.

    Thank goodness I don't push things to the limit so I don't have to worry about this stuff. I am in my hunting area after legal shooting hours and out well before they end, can't still hunt well in the dark.

    Yes and that is all after getting a 2/3 vote to get to that point, ain't gonna happen any way you shake it. More tax on bullets is a far bigger realistic thing to fear.

    The treaty is not about gun control, it is about country to country arms deals, ex Iran wants to buy weapons from Russia...that would be restricted.

    Nor mine, I can't stand either canidate and the debates are reinforcing that feeling. I was refering to the UN treaty though.

The Obama administration did not support it, on top of that read up on a Supreme court case from 1956 that states no other treaty shall govern our country. Reid Vs Covert.
