I wouldn't care if some one else were to use one but I sure can't see a great advantage to using one. The decible level only goes from say 165 to 130 as stated in the article, thats still loud. I can see where it would be handy in night hunting hogs though as they point out. -
I would wager that these rules harken back to the old days when guys would run deer with dogs.

See..... In the Northern Zone, if you are hunting with a dog, or accompanied by a dog, you may not possess a rifle larger than .22 caliber rim-fire or possess a shotgun loaded with slug, ball or buckshot unless you are coyote hunting with a dog.

Some chokes are thin walled and thus can't handle steel shot, others can. The steel shot will damage the thin walls and you will end up with a stuck choke.

To answer one of your questions, no I don't think #6's would be enough to kill a yote or like creature. And yes you can carry slugs for the occasion. The only time you cannot carry slugs is if it is Deer season and you do not have a deer tag.

Well we went out and got a Boxee and so far its a hit. We are streaming netflix through it on top of the already free content we can find and I will most likely end up buying the NHL package deal so I can watch any one of 1200 games a year. Bye bye Timewarner bill.... Oh and thus far image quality is great, better than expected honestly.

Last year we had snow piles till May, I don't want that again but at least if we do get some, spring is around the corner.

I am still having nightmares from last winter. I am loving this winter, only have to deal with some ice in the yard. The deer ought to be happy right now too.

Yea thats the guy, the one with the 3.07 gaa ranked 42 out of 45 right now..lol At least he can cry himself to sleep at night on his gold medal. I expected more out of the Sabers this year, maybe they can turn in on the rest of the season.

I am not much help here but, I did look and find a few fitting your needs, Big Game, and Riversedge make them so I am sure some others do aswell. They sure do look comfortable.
