  1. After dry saw cutting control joints kinda beer. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  2. sorry to hear it. you have to though. i'm sure discomfort is there only being able to simply stand.
  3. there's a solution to that.... lots of soccer moms here in the Capital Region driving around Porsche Panameras and even Macans with a back seat and just as much fun pedal. i mean not to be an enabler or anything. lol not sure the open air option applies though.
  4. i'm still learning how to shoot. no idea when i started though. i'm thinking i was barely old enough to wipe my own a$$ when i started. sitting in front of a NES screen playing Duck Hunt against my older cousins and family member it likely became blatantly apparent i was a prodigy. shortly after i graduated to a Daisy carbine BB gun that wasn't anymore accurate than the county fair airguns. then the pellet guns. then by pre-teen years whatever i could get my hands on. in highschool it was anything from a rimfire to up to my dad's 300 win mag. ...that's the story i'm sticking too anyway.
  5. don't give in to peer pressure carpet that thing too and keep them both. lol
  6. hammering through the same good stuff for a while. i did pick up the wife Leinenkugel Summer Shandy. i don't drink it but she likes it.
  7. Did you try Suarez? Supposed to be a good brewery. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  8. that's so much better it's not even funny to joke about.... almost. lol looks great. original looks bleached like it sat on a sun porch for years.
  9. we're close to selling out here in eastern NY. I may have a few bags left of these soybeans. If anyone seeing this would like some and is in the Capital region PM me, sooner than later. Our branch doesn't have a dedicated forum on here, so i'm hijacking Culver's. lol
  10. i've been working on bldg a garage and my day job has been in overdrive. haven't made it out yet. been roosting and calling in birds from the neighbors behind the house to within range but a creek that surrounds the property makes them hangup from coming right into my yard. couple toms in the group a younger longbeard and one a bit older based on hooks he's got for spurs. neighbor is an older lady that likes watching them so i can't and won't hunt her land that surrounds me. haven't made it to the farm but haven't heard any reports of anyone taking birds there either. this month is been crazy but i'm running out of time. better get out there if i'm going to take anything. lol i'm more of a deer hunter than a turkey hunter. can ya tell?
  11. Beer while grilling dinner earlier. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  12. Rocking one of our thermacell lanterns on the back deck right now. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  13. Local ipa called "Carla IPA". A new England ipa but not fruit juice kind. It's good. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  14. I thought that was a good beer. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  15. funniest story related to long shots i've got for long shots out your way is hunting public land. we came upon a NG pipeline. hunter in full orange was standing there with no sling or sticks or rest of any kind. he pointed out a spot in the distance where deer were crossing. his buddy was doing a drive. it was waaayyyy too far for a shotgun slug. i wouldn't take it with a rifle under those conditions. he had no idea of the distance and i didn't have the heart to tell him "getting the crosshairs on them as the run by" will basically put the slug in dirt long before it reaches the deer.
  16. Probably. They're at the top though being hypocritical in nature. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  17. This collab equilibruim and other wild ale is good. Only got one 750 bottle though to share with wife. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  18. I can get the ruby red right now. Problem is I'm still emptying the fridge of what I've already picked up. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  19. same here. i use handheld versions from spring turkey season (if i ever get out that is) to early bow deer season in the fall. i've got the lanterns too.
  20. even with taran butler as a coach she's kicking ass in that video. i wouldn't be surprised if she did have some experience with guns. i've shared the hell out of this video.
  21. you're confusing some of the good ones with two ass hats named Matt damon and liam neeson. those two can definitely get their vocal cords snipped.
  22. nice rifle. even if it takes a few boxes of ammo it'll be fun i'd imagine. lol
  23. haha.... i'll put myself out there. i've taken multiple deer at around 300 yards. some just under and some just over. one was a lot further. more often than not i make up a 100 yards that puts me close to my 200 yard zero. even then you won't see me without shooting sticks. most of the time i sit right down with them too. drop is nothing hard. wind people don't pay any attention to. if the creedmoor is close to a 300 win mag it'll still drift a handful of inches in your everyday 10+mph wind at 300 yards. if wind and your shot being at either edge of vitals (say tight to behind the shoulder) add up then you can end up into brisket or the opposite would put you into guts just past the diaphragm. 300 yards is definitely poke if you're not thinking about everything. i know someone who connected at something around 400 yards with a BDC reticle but didn't do anything for wind. when i say connected i mean he shot it in the A$$.
  24. Went for a beer run. Got home late so nothing tonight. Tomorrow will post. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  25. no idea. never had one. that'd be like looking through a gun mag at all these guns i can't have. lol
