  1. i have the cabelas commerical 12" model but it's the same idea. biggest problem people have with using this style of sealer and air grid bags is larger items have bulk and it sometimes forms a crease that runs across the seal bar or spot where the bag is sealed. it might seal but won't stay sealed for long.
  2. Some of it went into the freezer but I did keep some in the fridge. Regulator threaded collar to the grill broke. Got a new one. As soon as I replace it that meat is hitting a flame. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  3. Hell of a service plan it comes with too. Got a text just as I finished grinding. Grabbed the daughter and we ran out the door. The wife stayed back, cleaned up, broke it down, and washed it. Grinder that i dont have to clean is definitely a winner. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  4. Semi live. From today. 3-4 hours and kids probably a couple dozen perch. My 4.5 year old daughter chased down some flags and pulled in a couple by herself. A lot of them the kids worked together. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  5. Tested out the new 3/4 Hp grinder to see if it works. It ate up this meat. took longer to set it up than grind. Some chuck, top round sirloin, and bacon was on sale should make for awesome burgers on the grill this week. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  6. Local brew. Like it the best of their 3 beer series. ...guess its harder to read its brewed with azacca and el Dorado hops. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  7. Of that size, same here. It scored just over 200". lol Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  8. QDMA branches out in western NY are using and having good luck with pint nights to get people there. glad it was a decent turn out.
  9. power lines aren't a public free for all. our farm has them. if you see someone hunting them call an ECO they're trespassing.
  10. i said easy but should've said manageable when it comes to atv and sled traffic. you being fairly local can get anyone who's local you find riding through on your side and to work with you.
  11. gas easement must have been what i was looking at then. power lines are plain as day. snowmobilers and ATVers are easy to deal with. snowmobile clubs very easy despite they do much of there work in and around hunting season with signage and what not. they're no worry and work with you though to keep you happy if access goes through there. didn't seem to be a lot of corn fields though. it wouldn't hurt you unless they left some standing to hunt. even then it'd pull deer from the west through the property.
  12. yea it's flat which gives you lots of options for easier access and hunting layout. plus better for what i PMed you about. thruway wasn't meant for you to access. i'm saying trespassers will still use it if they have a reason to do so. it does provide a barrier for deer travel though and work to your advantage to hunt the back side with the right winds.
  13. yea i didn't come up with any ag crops remotely searching from this end of the state. lots of grass, mowed fields and pastures but that's about it. not much for high energy crops. not even straight alfalfa hay fields. sound the same that way for anyone who's actually in that area? seems there's weird right of ways or trail access. maybe snowmobile club trail system access or something.
  14. neat concept. definitely get the idea and open view to not cover your point of aim. in practicality i'm not sure it'd help me. i make it a point to try and judge yardage with rangefinder as a backup. i've never had the best luck comparing pin gapping to size of target any which way versus flat out judging yardage with practice. one concern i have is low light a super bright insert like that drowns out the deer. the deer and background all become pretty dark. definitely a robust design even compared to say a protected pin fiber sight.
  15. country song lyrics. point more about the manly image being a front. no intent to take down a road to gayness. lol
  16. i would talk to them first about putting a stand on the line. it always seems to rub people the wrong way even if it's facing onto your property. even if it's not the best neighbor you want to have good relations with them. be firm with your ownership but fair and cordial to get the point across without offending someone. go with a portable blind even on an old wagon/trailer frame you can move around and tweak it's location. mature woods is easier to work with and can be made to have deer to linger if the adjacent wood lots are open too. access seems to be great. any road hunter can make a drop off for their buddy to sneak in off the thruway but at 30 minutes away it's easy to keep an eye on. hunters on the neighbors might change where deer walk through but the obvious flow of travel is there. plenty of room to work and for access based on the wind. even to do nudges to move deer. i do have questions though. what's the topography like? i have some more thoughts i won't share on here i'll PM you with related to that and other things. most importantly you walked it and there's plenty of deer sign. the deer are there whether or not there's an age structure, so it's seems like a winner if you can get issues sorted out to close.
  17. it's nice to have trail cam pictures of big bucks that you know and not just some buck off the internet. my buddy's buck that he took. he's your average joe hunting with some buddies that happened to be in the right place at the right time.
  18. They're sister wives. Want an application? Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  19. Creamy lotiony hands probably can't grip a tackle box either. Lol Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  20. As a dad I just see that and think the dude has to go potty. Yes I said potty. Hardly imagine it's a turn on to girls. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  21. A biologist I've had a chance to meet and respect had got an invite to milo's house and handled the real full lower jawbone. He thought it to be 4.5 yrs old and confident enough to put the info out there. Not sure why teeth weren't sent I'm for cementum annuli analysis for well under $100. They do supplemental feed the deer up there making results less conclusive. Still the lab would give you a confidence index/letter grade based on the sample they could out under the microscope. That makes sense. Regardless it's awesome. I've handled multiple bronze castings of each side of the Hanson bucks antlers. I've also held my buddy's buck over 200" and 5.5 yrs old. Pics dont do it justice compared to having it right there in your hands. All amazing deer record or not. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  22. We went to coyote ugly in Panama city beach just before bike week. Couldn't take video there either. Girl swinging upside down and grabbed a shot out of anothers boobs. Then some more went right into body shots. All while girls were tossing their bras up onto ropes across the ceiling. Also this guy with money has his sugar baby whom he met on his honeymoon fishing for a couple to bring back to their room. Some tried to take video for sure. Girl even stopped dancing to harass a guy for doing so. Mostly bouncers just quietly made the point. Honestly it's better to just take it in with phone put away. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  23. A few different ones tonight. One being fairly local. Taylor brew wasnt bad but I liked simcoe bomb best. Citra was kinda more lemon like too much like a bitter shandy to me. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
