Do you have a local airport?Call them and ask if they may have a little info on it.I am not sure if helicopters have the same rules as planes with landing,takeoffs and flight plans but its worth a shot. -

One of my favorite hunts was that way up near North Lake.Packed in about 2 miles,set up camp and stayed the weekend.Killed a coyote that weekend and had a great time in general. -
Very true.I am not saying dont do it I am saying the next time he goes over to hunt it.The more times you put boots on the ground thats another chance you may get busted.I do a a ton of moving around during season but I make sure when I do scouting I either have a stand on my back to put up or am ready the next time I go,I know a bunch of people that will keep checking the place out then hang a stand a week later and by that time you have told every deer in the area you where there.

Git em!! Tip toe lightly though.One of the worst things to do is spook a big buck during season.SOme times it can send them off the deep end.

A little but not enough to really say so.I think in the stand I am a 1/2 lower than ground level.Make sure you are bending at your waist because that can really throw stuff off

This and tell them that baiting is illegal.If you hunt that area you will have the finger pointed at you.Personally I am a prick so I would have the DEC on the horn showing them the bait and let them handle it.

I am a firm believer in that the camo pattern doesnt really matter,if you dont move they will have a tough time picking you out with most any camo on the market today.I would give them a shot.Better yet take them someplace and stick them in a area thats like what you will be hunting and see what they look like.

I am the same way,one time back 4-5 years ago I had one on me.Then nothing till this weekend.If you aren't going to try the permathin then check yourself all over after getting out of the woods.

I wear under armour,I am not sure that I got this in the woods,I think I got them at home from my dog

Millennium are awesome,I had a m100 but sold it because I didn't like how the stand "V'ed back.I am going to buy another that is a fuller platform that they make.

Went to the docs,they said not to worry because it wasnt engourged so it couldnt have been on long.They gave me a script for a 2 part pill(cant remeber the name of it) to take and drew blood.They are drawing blood again in a few weeks but hey said I should be fine.They also said that this year is one of the worst in recent history for lyme cases and tick bites in general.So get some permerthin and treat yo self,god knows I am!!

All the deer I have seen have been in the PM.My trail cams have plenty of am activity.I am starting to wonder if its something I am doing wrong this year or if I just haven't hit it right.On the stands I have sat am's I have seen plenty of deer before
