Honestly i hated all the climbers I had and didn't use them much till I bought a summit.I use my summit pretty much 50% of my hunting time and it is the reason that I get most of my deer.If you practice it will become second nature when you are setting up.Also remember,it isnt a race to get set up and 15 foot off the ground.I have had way better times when I get there and even if it close to being light out I take my time and get the stand put on the tree and slowly climb.I would say from the tie I am at the base of the tree to the time I am set up and sitting is around 15 minutes give or take every time.What does it matter if you get in your stand and sit for another 30 minutes and wait for shooting light,or slowly climb and not get all sweated up and clang and bang around

Just like the title says.I have had a few but they never worked good in the woods.That was around 10 years ago so I am hoping they are a little better now than then.I am starting to hunt the big woods up north more and want it for just a few spots not 100's.

I don't give a rats butt what "ordinance" says.He stole the sign.If that was Joe Blow he could and should have been arrested.If he was responding to a complaint then why not talk to the landowner that the sign was on?Why Kick it?Why not do the right thing? Its because he feels he is above the law and can do what he wants because he has a little piece of shiny metal on his chest....that's it.If a city ordinance doesn't allow a sign then why are they allowed for elections,what about yard sale signs and signs that say congratulations you had a baby.Get real...the problem is the cop and the people who are against guns.Sorry but when it comes down to it I call a spade a spade and this touchhole in the cruiser just thinks he will do whatever he wants because he is king kong cop.Now he is feeling the heat a little,but I suspect nothing will be done about this at all.Off my rant....I am heading to camp!!

It doesn't matter if it was laying down,sideways,upside down or taped to a tree.What he did was wrong and should be pursued as a theft,I have known a bunch of police officers and most are good people but some act like because they were a badge and a gun they can do whatever the hell they want.When I see a guy like this that is exactly what I see and he needs to be reprimanded so he knows he isnt better than everyone else and can do whatever he wants.This was also the 3rd or 4th sign stolen/missing from this persons front yard from what I have heard.

I had them on a old 30-30 I had and had no problems at all with them.I feel that most people don't know how to install a scope to save their azz(not saying that to you just a generalization).Most people don't threadlock screws down and most dont evenly torque the screws.

Young deer,if he is not shot this year he will be a bruiser next year.He has unbelievable mass for his age!

Does anyone know if there is a accuracy difference in the takedown model VS. the regular model?I could care less about ever taking it apart,but the pistol grip seems to only come in that configuration in stainless/laminate

They work great,I used one last spring and it was like someone cast a spell on the skeeters!!They sa tand hovered at around 7-8 feet away from me all morning.As soon as I turned it off to walk out they were all over me like white on rice!!

Yea someone knew a bit to much about where your stuff is.Have you had people on cam before?Any new landowners in the area that you know of?I would go to all the neighboring properties and let them know what happened....and also to have a quick look around to see if you can see one of your stands.

Look for a "A" stamped in front of the serial #,if its not there then the recall hasn't been done to it.The gun could "full auto fire" without it.
