if you have a general routine of when you hunt you may want to break it up a bit, keep them guessing.Once you catch them, throw the book at them.Dont give in,make sure you press charges.Lock all your stands and cams for sure because once you take action they will try to get even with you

Listen to her,Some years are different than others and a tactic works better than others.Once you get in a rut it can really take some time to get out of it.WHen I get in a bit of a rut I grab the shotgun or 22 and go whack some squirels just to have some fun and see some different territory.I also listen to others that hunt near me as they may or may not know how to help. All it takes is one good tip or day and your season will turn around.I had one year that everyone but me were seeing deer, that yearI only saw 9 deer(I hunt my butt off and most years I have hunted 30-40 days out of the season),no matter what I did or didn't do that year sucked. To this day it is another guys best year hunting the same farm I do.Once muzzleloader season came in I went with a friend to some state land and nailed 2 doe on 2 different days and it made the rest of the year worth it.Keep your head held high,it will get better!!

A friend that hunts state land on 8F has seen deer almost everytime he has been out.Always a little to far away for his taste!

Yup I had a 7A get mailed to me 2 years ago,was like Christmas early!!LOL
-
That is bad azz!!!!

Never to early IMO,don't go blowing on it like you are in the front row at band camp. One or 2 here and there.I usually wait to see a deer this time of year before I use a grunt tube.I will cold call with a bleat a few times a day.Once rut hits I use both more often.

QAD,I also had a ripcord and liked it but I like the QAD more

I started using a handwarner muff and a hot hands handwarmer with a pair of jersey gloves

If you force someone to do something they may not enjoy it enough to come and see what they rest of us have come to enjoy.
-
Deer get up from time to time during the day and move around,to get food, water and to defficate. If you are funding beds its more than likely not just a spot they chill for a short while
-
Not a great deal IMO,maybe for 300 it would be ok.
-
Ship it through the u ship it type stores. The main office doesn't like anything.I had a gun damaged in shipment a few years back and it almost too a act of god to let me bring it in to show them the damage.....and then they said it wasn't their fault it was packed wrong. This packed wrong rifle was double boxed and in a plastic case, you could clearly see boot prints and where a corner of something punctured the boxes and case right through to the receiver

Ruger compacts are small and very light compared to the American from what I can remember
