I have a Brittany too, orange and white, he's 10. Seems like he is going deaf and his eyesight not so good either. Still has a great nose and puppy like energy! We have always crated him, which he does not mind at all. He stays quiet in the crate no matter how long we leave him in. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk

That will work. Just need to loosen up the top layer of soil. I like to seed and then drag lightly over it again with a short section of chain link fence.

There might be some new weeds, I would just hit it with 2% mix 10-14 days before you plan to plant. Will you be doing any tilling or just throw and grow?
-
I’m not sure why you would want to make 3 applications. Depending on what it is you are trying to kill, 1 should be enough. As mentioned above, brush will need a higher dose per gallon. Read the label. There is no difference in the 18% or the 43%, just the concentration in the container. when you read the labels you will see different amount per gallon depending on the concentration of the bottle you have. Again, the best advice is to read the label. I think it is a good idea to wait until late August to plant, better chance of getting some rain and helping germination and early development. So plan you killing of weeds to dates prior to that. (And adjusted to when your schedule allows)

Chef, it will take a week or so to really kill it off. You can seed 10 days after application, not sooner. Roundup does kill “pretty much” everything, but not 100% everything. Some tougher plants need either a stronger (or different) type chemical, or a second application. Pulling and tilling work too!

This was only my second attempt at salmon. The first time I just smoked it until it looked done. It came out good enough to try again, but it was a little dry. This time I used Hank Shaw’s recipie (honest-food.net). The hardest part was keeping smoke temp at 120 for 2 hours. It only needed a couple if pieces of lit charcoal to get there. Next hour was at 150 and then last hour was at 175. Internal temp needs to be between 130 and 140. Good luck - it was a perfect project for a hot sunny day with the smoker next to the lake.

Smoked a Lake Ontario Salmon on 7/4, took a good part of the day while trying to control temps on the Weber. Sitting in the shade and in/out of the lake, it was pleasant afternoon. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk

I have a Coleman Extreme from WalMart, works well for a weekend type use keeping milk cartons of ice pretty much whole. And beer cold! I’ve used it on week long fishing trips and it will keep things cold for 4 or 5 days if you pack it well and don’t open the lid a lot. I think I have a Coleman Marine somewhere and that was a good cooler too, but too large for my use most of the time. My buddy has a Yeti and it does work great, but it takes 2 guys to move it when it is full.

I think there is a Home2 (Hilton property) next door to the Cabelas, which is pretty close to the Goat, within a few miles. If I can go, I will probably stay there. I have a fishing trip planned August 10 to the 19th. Summer is always busy and August if filled with end of summer, start of school, Labor Day, etc. Maybe a date in September? May I suggest picking three dates and then just tally who can make it and go from there?
-
Wouldn’t want to miss this one! Are you thinking summer time or more like September?

Here's your kabobs Biz. Lacking any variety of vegetables. So I just made do with onion and peppers. Larger hunks are the hidden tenderloins from a BB. Quite delicious! Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
