  1. Try heat for half an hour, ice for a half an hour, it helps me sometimes. Ditto on the ibuprofen. Also some light stretching is good, especially while in the shower with the hottest water you can take.
  2. Covered all those bases for sure, thanks everyone! Happy Birthday Tommy!
  3. Corned Venison with Roasted Potatoes, carrots and onions. Turned out pretty dam good, even my wife had seconds helpings. Can't wait for Corned Venison sandwiches tomorrow! Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  4. Sincere condolences to both of you. Rob, feeling empty is a perfectly natural reaction, even for those that we only casually know. You did a really nice thing for him by taking his worries away from snowy driveway or sidewalks.

    Beer

Having an Empire Brewing "Live and Let Rye" IPA - one week old in my growler and still carbonated. Very good beer. Roasting potatoes, carrots, onions in the oven, to go with the Corned Venison I made this week. HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY FROM AN ITALIAN![emoji1132][emoji1132][emoji1132][emoji634][emoji634][emoji634] Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  6. I was chit chatting with the owner of Wildwood Archery and asking about joining a league next year, knowing that the indoor leagues all end in April or so. He told me that a team on Thursday night had just recently lost one of their members and if I wanted to sub for the next four weeks that would have me. This past Thursday was my first night and I shot a 249. I believe that is my raw score since I don’t have a handicap yet. I was pretty happy with my shooting,. My best round was a 23 and I don’t think I shot below 19. It was also my first night with the new arrow rest. I had a whisker biscuit on it but the new drop down just came in and the owner put it on for me. I have no idea what model or manufacturer. About half of the guys on this night shoot traditional which was fun to watch. Anyways, now I have no reason not to shoot at least 1x a week for the next few weeks. Very nice group of guys, glad I asked when I did, working out perfectly for me.
  7. Happy Birthday! Wow, St PAtricks Day and your birthday, sounds like celebration big time!
  8. It did look great! I’d love to get some rabbit for a stew . I had it a few times in Italy and it was always a great meal.
  9. The slicer is no problem, and he will get a share of the result too, since he helped me drag and butcher said deer!
  10. Not for dinner tonight, but it will be ready for Saturday - St. Patricks Day. I made the marinade for Corned Venison, just waiting for it to cool so I can soak the roasts for 5 days. I’ll have to borrow my friends meat slicer to get the nice thin, even slices. Dark rye, Russian dressing, sauerkraut, a thick slice of Swiss cheese and a nice dark beer will be my St Patricks Day Dinner! Will post pics.
  11. Might as well, without Syracuse in the bracket, at least I will have something to watch for! I’m in.

What a great gift! Happy Birthday!
  13. They add flavor! One of my Moms old recipes actually calls for reserving the shells and steeping them, then adding the broth back into the pasta water. You can always pretend they are chicken wings!
  14. 2 of my groups from tonight. When I got there, it had just opened up so it was chilly inside. I shot the first few rounds with my coat on and I was definitely not on target! That will be something to work on before 10/1. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk

Fletch, check out Now and Later a bar/beer store in Tipperary Hill, one block away from the Blarney Stone. They have the Victory at Sea and a pretty decent collection. I also found a decent beer store in Camillus in the Costco Plaza development. (Next door to a really good wine shop too)
  16. Looks like the rebuild has started. TF, I bought Berbere spices online, going to try to recreate the wings, I'll let you know if I get close Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  17. I don’t remember seeing that on this site, but on myhuntingforum.com there was a guy that had a long thread about the many cameras he built. He would also sell you parts so you could turn your old cameras into trail cams. That site is down to just a few members and posts, most are long gone.
  18. But only got a 45% on the Poop test.
  19. 10/10! Weird questions though! You’re officially a genius!!You are logical and insightful in your way of thinking, you learn new things quickly and with little practice, and you have a highly advanced comprehension of nuances. This unique IQ exam was given to 100 American college students and only 3 passed. SHARE it to test your friends.
