    I've seen coyotes with some pretty spindly tails, especially if they were mangey...Ears look kinda big for one of them there pumacougars, but I wouldn't to bet next months social security check on what it is...

    In my "accumulation" of cartridges ( it's not organized enough to be termed a collection) I have a .25-36 Marlin, which was Marlin's equivalent to the then quite popular .25-35 Win. I don't know how many years they manufactured it...

    I have never actually seen a peregrine, just pictures, but the banded tail feathers rung a bell..I have seen lots of sharp shins and Cooper's...Both accipiters very similar to the falcons... Nice pictures, Stormy....

    The dark bands on the tail suggest either a sharp shinned or Cooper's hawk...

    About the STRANGEST regs in the world...In Pa it is illegal to shoot rabbits, squirrels, or woodchucks with your Ruger 10-22.. How sick is THAT ??

    Sounds like fun to me...After being in on a few moose kills, I would prefer to shoot one as close to the road as possible... With moose, the fun stops when the moose is dead.. A friend of mine, an older gentleman , told me about a moose hunt he went on years ago up in Canada.. He said " We were having a hell of a good time...Then some dumb s**t shot a MOOSE ".....

    I sure do remember that song, Al, and I appreciate the message.... Reminds me of one of old girlfriends...She was so ugly that if you looked up the word " UGLY" in the dictionary, they had her picture in there.. But she sure could "COOK"...

    Actually, Bob, I am a fan of laminate stocks...They are made of wood and some of them are very attractive, IMHO... My Model 70 Lightweight .280 has a laminate stock and I think it is very pretty.Not as pretty as a nice piece of walnut, but much prettier than a piece of Tupperware..

    The Long Ranger has a detachable box...A nice ALL STEEL flush fitting detachable box, instead of a plastic POS... I agree with you on the tube loading Henrys....I never cared for that feature either.

    My local Legion post just put up a Henry Long Ranger for raffle...First time I have seen one close up...It's a beautiful blued and walnut rifle, and I was impressed...If I ever went with a lever action that would be it...The one at the Legion is in .308, but they also chamber it in 6.5 Creed... I'm gonna buy 5 tickets a week....

    He just put the " Sleeper Hold" on it... Besides, it's not an African lion, it's a MIDDLE EASTERN" lion....They tend to be less physically fit, probably from having sex with goats...
