  1. No offense, otto...You are kinda cute, but I know you are Sicilian, and I remember what happened to Vito Spatafore in " The Sopranos"....
  2. At my age, it's hard to resist a nice tight butt of EITHER sex....
  3. Put up a life size cutout picture of Blackbeltbill in the middle of the plot...
  4. I tried that with a crow once...Unfortunately, he was falling head first and his beak gouged out a nasty gash in the palm of my hand....First thing I thought about was what he probably had been eating..YUCK... As I remember, the wound did not get infected...I was lucky...Never tried that again...
  5. I was hunting years ago up near Montezuma Swamps, and a dead goose made a direct hit on the noggin of a guy in a nearby blind and actually knocked him unconscious...
  6. Wasn't Yogi talking about Spumoni when he said " It's so crowded nobody goes there..." ??...
  7. ........Excellent.....I may kidnap Otto's lovely wife and force her to make chicken salad sandwiches for me..
  8. It was a great day....Steady fishing all morning long....Thanks to Otto or the opportunity and the great guiding...Between perch, bass and rock bass I would estimate we caught around 80 fish...I don't think we went 5 minutes all morning without somebody catching something...
  9. I'm off to pick up Two Buck Bob, and then up to meet Otto at the launch on Skaneateles... Looking forward to it...This will be the first time I've laid eyeballs on the lake, much less fished it...
  10. Interesting, but OUCH !!! Very cool vintage cartridge, Al, but my interest in it would run toward something like the 1873 Springfield, or other single shots of that era, or perhaps even a Ruger # 1 or # 3 with loads equivalent to the old BP loads...At my age, getting my teeth loosened no longer interests me...I don't have many of my own left, and those are mostly amalgum, or whatever they use for filling teeth these days..Hehehe...
  11. Better check them TATERS, Girlfriend !!....<<smile>>...
  12. There are few things more satisfying than the THUMP of a 10 pound goose hitting the ground after you fold him at about 30 yards up.....
  13. Looks to me like the "flat headed tallywhacker" mushroom...They are not fatal, but if you eat one, you'll wake up the next morning with your penis under your pillow...
  14. Glad I'm not involved...I can't even get mine up on the table anymore.....
  15. The apple crop is pretty dismal here in Dogpatch from what I've seen,,,, I blame it on a late frost...
  16. What the hell do expect when posting that crap in this overwhelmingly conservative crowd ?? You are just beaming with pride for stirring up shit....Go peddle your papers elsewhere...
  17. Not al all, Larry...They are very common, at least down here in Dogpatch....They really like dense brushy stuff, like multiflora rose and russian olive....Sis and I have lots up on the property, and they relatively tame...They'll come out for bugs within 10-15 yards of us and do not appear too alarmed at our presence..
  18. Seen my itself . rather than having a bluejay for size comparison a catbird can appear like a bigger bird, due to it's upright stance and long tail...
  19. Sounds like a catbird to me....
  20. Gotta be local geese, Dave....
  21. Another SLOOOW morning on Keuka.....Caught about ten smallies, half a dozen rock bass and two dink perch from 8:00am until noon.... It was however, a lovely morning on the water with a refreshing breeze..As soon as we got ashore, the temp seemed to go up 20 degrees.....
  22. After a false start last Friday, I planning to fish Keuka this morning.... Picking up Two Buck Bob in Bath at 7:00 AM... Plans are to launch at Jake's Boat Livery on the west side, or if it is too crowded, the State Park at Branchport...
