  1. 5th through the 9th. They are calling for a more "standard" rut this year so I'm hoping I hit it big time.
  2. That is a lame way to put it, I agree with you... but I really cant say what I would like to say without stepping outside the boundaries... so that will have to do. I'm not thinking my buddie Steve is going to be to offended. I'm sure the old man will fire back on all cylinders eventually
  3. Ohhh Steve.... You see at first I thought this was just merely about you not being able to afford the ozonics or not wanting to spend the money on it. Therefore, the only way to justify and convince yourself of this is to "knock" it or feel negatively towards it. Hey, I cant say that I've never done it before with a product... I spoke my piece and gave this guy a good review, you have never owned the machine, and gave the guy a bad review. You see....Steve... I thought that it all boiled down to just that but now I'm not so sure. Steve, I think the only reason you keep posting here is because part of you may actually be "attracted" to my posts and myself. Now, although I am flattered, I don't swing on that side of the tree Steve. You see I like females, not males. I know this may be hard for you to hear Steve, but this is me breaking it to you as gently as I can. I know your feelings are more than likely on the "feminine" side, and that's ok.. nobody blames you. But you need to move on....Steve.... there is no happy ending here for you.
  4. I have not so I can't give an opinion on it. However, there probably will be a few guys that tell you "it's just another gimmick" or "media is trying to sell you garbage again". If you think it's worth it, give it a shot
  5. Shot two giants around 830 in the morning on November 13th back to back years out of same stand, one that went pretty high in the book. That's my only superstition is hunting that day
  6. Congrats! That's a beauty. Always more fun to see your kid shoot one I'm sure
  7. Stevie wonder.. it is effective I own one. It works for me all the time. That is the only fact I know. WOW can you seriously get that through your head man. Lol some people on here are just bonkers
  8. It's worth it. It may have been easier if I just said that. This just confirms all my research before I bought mine. All the negative reviews are from dudes that have never even used one
  9. Lol deadly.. the company Is going strong stevie wonder.. no cases of death from using an ozonics. Hahaha. Bottom line it works. And that's all I got to say about that
  10. What'd you expect... it's a hunting forum..
  11. Does it work great that way?? 15 minutes on Google and he's giving an actual product review that he's never even used. Lol I get a kick from this stuff
  12. Lmao to the naysayers. YOUR LOSS NOT MINE!!!
  13. I forgot my battery to my ozonics in the charger one sit this year. I swear it felt like forgetting my bow!
  14. I would bet all the money that I have that it is going to work. This is my first year with it, so I haven't used it yet during gun season. Oh trust me, I still play the wind, but we live in a valley, so the wind can be blowing in a complete opposite direction when you get in the stand. Ozonics has saved my butt every time. Ozonics is the real deal!
  15. JFB - the theory of "ozone" is that it is such an instable molecule that it needs to bond with something immediately. The only thing for it to bond to out in the woods is scent molecules. Ozone is a different molecule than scent, so it is a different smell. Yes it completely rids are scent molecules, but it still has a smell to it that is foreign to deer. When a fawn is raised by its mother, she teaches it of foreign smells, animals, and other threats that could potentially harm them. They were never taught about ozone, hence why they can not associate it with danger. Don't get me wrong, they may check you out and they will definitely check the wind, but from my experience, they keep on walking with no sense of fear. I read a pile of negative reviews on these things saying they don't work, don't waste your money, the ozone will make you sick / light headed, etc. I have nothing but positive things to say about this machine. I could have shot plenty of deer this year that were dead down wind thanks to mine
  16. Yea I have the S4 as well. God Awful when it comes to having it on vibrate. I wish that was something you could adjust.
  17. I have one. Without a Question in my mind, the most important piece of equipment I take out with me in the woods!!!!!!! I bought one for this year after getting frustrated with being busted by deer over my years of hunting. Please note that I have always been a freak when it comes to scent control. Scent free shower, wash clothes in scent free detergent, throw in dryer to activate carbon, keep clothes in air tight container, only put clothes on when in field, and then spray down big time. Still..... I was always busted if a deer got downwind on me. I have had numerous deer downwind this year from me and they keep on walking as if I wasn't even there. Talk about putting a smile on my face!!! Now, I haven't had a mature buck walk through yet downwind (and hopefully he doesn't anyways). But, I have had mature does, small bucks, and a 2 1/2 downwind, and they never busted me. They will look up at you, as the ozone is a foreign smell to them. However, they cant associate the smell with danger, so they just keep on walking as if nothing ever happened. Truly amazing!! I would like to think that my quality of hunting has also dramatically improved as I could count with a couple fingers how many deer have busted me this year out of the stand. The more I think about it... the few mature bucks I've seen so far this year were downwind of me... and they never even looked in my direction. They were a 100 yards away or so, but still... they got great noses as we all know.
  18. Yea definitely, I shall comment after Saturday as long as I remember to..
  19. Anybody have a pair or used them??? I bought a brand new pair before season for the cold days. I have not opened them yet but looks like I may be come Saturday. I have received positive and negative feedback on these things. They were not cheap either!!
  20. We have got a couple of black squirrels on our property. They are always stealing the grey squirrels acorns....
  21. I do agree with that now, first glance they looked like rib bones...
  22. WNY that first picture of the thread shows a gap between the lungs and the spinal cord lol. And I have read that thread numerous of times. Live pictures would be the only picture I go by as it is a live deer and not an animated pictures (just not the one sawed in half in this post )
