My favorite vacations as a kid were up in a Maine- don’t know where - but it was on a lake and we had a cabin and a dock with a Jon boat and a 5hp motor. Cool mornings and evenings; bath was in the lake when it warmed up at 3:00...common dining areas and ping pong and bingo at night. Simple...family....fun! $5-10 to park...we were here at 9:30(3rd place game at 10). Couldn’t get tix to the grandstand (free but needed to be here by so we are on a blanket on a the CF hill(pic of our view). Great crowd and we are still 1 1/2 hours from kickoff. Food and concession game is decent(cheddar dog; Italian sausage, chicken fingers and hot dog with fried for us). Hitting the smokehouse soon. Boys each grabbed a fitted hat (SW and SE)...$30 plus free pins-not bad. Hill sledding is harder than they make it look and a bit violent (hence super fun!) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
