Cabin Fever

I was streaming using my phone as a hotspot yesterday. Worked flawlessly, until I got a message that said I used 80% of my hotspot usage! I have unlimited data, but never knew my hotspot was limited.? WTF... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Just moved into our new house today. I called Spectrum to set up service, but was told they don't provide service on my road! I checked Frontier and Verizon also, but they don't either! I'm only 2-3 miles outside the city (NOT NYC) limit, but there's only 4 houses on the road. I'm at a loss as to what my other internet providers would be. I was told to look into HughesNet, Viasat, Nomadinternet. Does anyone have any experience with one of these or can you give me other options that you would recommend? Kind of in a jam! Looks like we'll be streaming TV, have Ring, and of course just need fast internet for working from home.

A few days before and after a full moon always SUCK for me seeing any deer activity! It’s just dead! I’ve been talking to several guys at work about their gun season so far. Larry, ya' still got me beat!! I've yet to see a friggin' deer since gun season opened!! Starting to think it's not just us, as I've heard very little shooting in the area! Don't think I've heard a shot within 1/2 mile or so! A wise man once told me, "Sometimes you just need to ask, WTF?"

After 23 years of living in the village and hating it, we had plans to move out when the kids got out of school and move out of town. We made a checklist of things that were important to us to find in our “ideal” house and we agreed not to settle. Sold our house, found the perfect house, perfect location, privacy, 4 acres of woods, etc... As icing on the cake, I contacted the owner of the 66 acre property that borders mine and lives out of state, and got sole permission to hunt the property! I killed my biggest buck to date 2 weeks ago there! We close on the house in 1-2 weeks! I’ve never had the luxury of walking out my back door to hunt before, so I can’t wait!! I HATED living in the village! No privacy, can’t shoot the bow in the village, just limited on what you can do, always feel like I have eyes on me by nosy neighbors, etc... Life’s too short! Between the 3 of us that hunt together on private property, we haven't even seen a deer since gun season opened. Can't blame it on hunting pressure, as we have very little, if any, in the area. We might have heard 1 shot within 1/2 mile of us, but any others sounded like they were ~1 mile away. Seems like all the deer have gone nocturnal. The woods seem void of life! Not very motivating, that's for sure...

Does anyone use the Ring Security System? I'm looking into these, but would like to hear about some first hand experience with it first. Ring has some pretty good Black Friday deals, so if I'm going to purchase, I want to do it soon.
