  1. I put my coverts in higher risk areas hoping someone will steal them... No luck yet. Sent from my VS980 4G using Tapatalk
  2. Oh, I bet that was fun in a kayak!! One of these days, I'm going to get one myself.
  3. Nice bucks! It would be interesting to see how much more they've grown since the videos were taken.
  4. I was just thinking over the weekend that I should start getting a couple mock scrapes started. I just whip it out and pee in the scrape.
  5. This could explain why I've seen fewer fawns this year....
  6. I was out all day checking stands and trimming around them. Got 8 done today. Sore as hell, but I'm glad I got them done! I have 2-3 more to do, probably tomorrow. Need to move some cams around while I'm out there too...
  7. Wow! That's a cool pic Ernie! First post too! Welcome to the forum!
  8. This is the first year I've seen a fisher on my property (Wayne County). Up until this last cam check, I've only gotten a few blurry night time pics. Pretty cool... Close-ups.
  9. LOL That's what I thought when I saw this pose!
  10. I was out checking cams today and found my first rub of the year right along my path. Wasn't there last Sunday when I was out. Nothing big, but it gets the blood flowing! Getting to be about that time!
  11. Got a few nice pics of a blonde coyote.
  12. Perfect time to get out and work on stands! Sent from my VS980 4G using Tapatalk
  13. Happy Birthday Val! Hope you have a good one!
  14. Freekin' daggers! I would hate to be the buck that tangles with that guy this fall!
  15. I'm only 10min from there Larry, but there's not a whole lot that I would recommend in Geneva. Parkers and Eddie O'Brian's (~1/2 mile from Hobart in downtown Geneva) has good steaks, burgers, chicken, and salads. Another similar place is Beef & Brew and is right around the corner. Right on 5&20 (~1/2 mile from Hobart there's a pretty good Mexican place called Molcajetes. Also, in downtown, there's a pretty good Japanese Hibachi place called Ichiro. For a nicer place, the Belhurst or Cobblestone would be good places. Might want to check out Yelp or TripAdvisor for more info.
  16. Between that snazzy new shotgun and Otis, those rabbits won't have a chance!
  17. Happy Birthday Larry! I'm sure you have something good planned! Enjoy!
