I have a brand, new only been fished once Shimano TLD 2Speed LRSA 50w reel spooled with an 80lb mono top shot and backed with 120lb JB Hollow core braided line. The reel is mounted on a Penn 5'6" Tuna Stick with 80-100lb rating. the setup is cherry like I said it was only fished once... Well maintained , no boat rash, scratches or signs of rust. Just don't have the time to go tuna fishing anymore between work, fam, and hunting. Will send pics to whomever is interested... Looking for $450

33 years old, first hunt was Fall Turkey 2013 (30). To say I caught the hunting bug is an understatement, hunting is all I can think about 24/7. When I can't sleep I count deer in lieu of sheep. Baught my daughter a toy boy and arrow for her 3rd birthday and hope to have her shooting next spring if the wife blesses it, she'll be 4.

Advice for calling coyotes needed!

What's a good bait to use? I heard from an old timer that they love canned tuna... He said he used to nail cans to a tree and let all the liquid drain out -
Nice shooting guys!

Saturday morning me and my good buddy are sitting 30 yards apart covering adjacent corners of a clearing.... I called out short after fly down and he gobbled right away.... Did a little cluck and purr and he came charging in right to my friends SBE. The first bird I ever called in! What an adrenaline Rush! 9" beard, 7/8" Spurs, didn't weigh him but he felt well over 20 lbs.

Leaving for camp Friday after work... Final gear check tonight and tomorrow. But I've been mentally prepping for the last month... Now just counting the hours

I'm a big fan of the Primos trigger stick, I have the shortened bipod version. It sets up easy, adjusts easily on level and unlevel ground, breaks down to fit in my backpack, has good straps to hold the legs in place while traveling, and a good strap to secure the barrel of the gun to the bipod. However I wasn't thrilled about the price, I think I payed close to $85 for it. Also the bipod version doesn't stand alone by itself so I would recommend the tripod version (imho). And lastly why does Primos put electric green and bright orange colors on their products? I figured a turkey could see it from a mile away so I camo taped and sprayed it with flat black spray paint.

It's easier to ask for forgiveness than to get permission... I have a similar issue with my significant other and we have a 2yr old daughter so my hunting trips have to be scheduled a week or so in advance

I'm shooting good groups with Remington hollow point slugs, and Federal Sabot Slugs out of a Carlson rifled choke tube...mossy 500 12gauge 24" smoothbore barrel.

Ordered up a Knight and Hale "Witchy Woman" from cabelas which arrived today... Out of the box it didn't sound good but with a little chalk and some practice she sounds pretty darn good and I'm pleasantly surprised with the sound... Although I find it a little difficult to cluck and purr together, gotta keep working on that! All things considered it's a great addition. Ok one funny side note... My girlfriend sees me in the shed (man cave) opening the cabelas box which also contained a jake decoy... So she comes in and says in her best Staten Island accent , "oh great! Just what we needed, another rubber chicken and duck call" I just shrugged my shoulders and laughed.... Sorry had to share

Not sure... All I know about this pic is where it was taken and two of the people in it (neither of which is holding the rifle)

I was very disgusted when I read the article online the other day.... I love seeing deer on the island but can see how they are slowly becoming a problem. Me personally would love to see a lottery style hunt but doubt it will ever happen.... Fingers crossed

Taking out ole Mitch... Mossberg 500 with a full choke and Remington Nitro Turkey #6 3"... Tried the long-beards last year and they patterned poorly out of my gun. Anyone try out those new Federal 3rd Degree rounds... Seen them in a bunch of magazines
