    I agree Cory that safety is loud, I'm more of a 200 yard and les shooter and intend on this gun being mostly for my wife and kids which will be 100 and less! I just couldn't walk by any new browning for $300.

    This new "ab3" is more budget minded compared to the gen 1 and 2s. I think ya lighter also 6lb 13 oz.

    Does anyone have any experience with this rifle? I bought one today for what I though was a good deal. .243, wood stock with palm swell, 22" barrel, sticker price on it was $579, gander marked down to $405, browning rebate $100. Total cost for rifle $305 and then got leupold bases and rings for $19 usually $65. I got the scope last year (bushnell xlt doa 600 for under 100 after rebate. $324 plus tax total. Fully set up $450.

    As an a Leo, I personally know nobody in my department would call your judge. A restricted is a carry permit, your restrictions are administrative, not law.

    Nice! Now mix a combo of hydrogen peroxide and baking soda, make a paste and put on skull for 24 hours, brush off!

    Been real busy, dad shot a nice 7 point yesterday evening, I've been swarmed with does. But no bucks.

    Get a good climber, pick some trees before the season and practicing climbing them so you know how many "knotches" on the straps you need to be level. I love my summit viper hd. I can be up a tree 5 minutes from getting there.

    The deer are all over here by my house, just saw three in the back yard but I have the little ones home. I'll be bowhunting out back Sat morning!

    Way to go, I'd have shot, I know the consequences but I'd sleep better at night knowing what I did I felt was right.

    Boil is easy, just take your time. I just give the hides to a local guy who buys them, figure it's better than wasting it.

    Still snowing here in 7s, making it really hard to get to some of my hunting areas with 16-20 inches in the ground.

    Walked a lot today in this powder, found 20-30 sets of tracks and had a couple does in the scope bedded down, however I just sat and watched them hoping for a buck to come bother them.

    i shot 4 does already during bow, ill be carrying my wives mossberg 500 20 gauge till we get to the double stand for her.
