i dont, but really want to try them, just cant justify another BH purchase with the way my current ones have performed.
-
Wow I did not know that! I generally save that area for the special season and hunt my other areas first but if I fill my tags before that I will head up!
-
Man i love working nights when the weather is like this. Just got approved for my 4 day weekends all November!
-
Yes on the 2 tag part, the special season is all of January.
-
My whole set up if purchased at retail would be well over $1500 dollars, between buying a used bow, cheap arrows from dicks that are there own special name and nap broadheads on rebate i come in around $550-$600. $5-$8 is perfectly reasonable to me for a bh. $15 is why the china sales are thriving and will continue to do so.

i can already see my phone battery fading watching this thread. good think i have an external battery that will give me 2 full charges out there!
-
yup, those are the years people kill monsters. stay at it.
-
2-5 arrows a day, broadheads only now. taking breaks between each arrow, sometimes holding the bow back for around a minute. Sometimes ill draw, hold back, let down, draw, then shoot.
-
I didn't even pay that much attention to see it was recurve, good catch.
-
I didnt intend to be, my bad. was just saying.
-
I haven't even showed these bucks to some of my close hunting buddies lol.
-
Rage broadheads are not made in America, of you shoot one deer no big deal, I shoot 5-7 a year mostly with my bow.
-
According to my victory box 25lbs would need a 30" 500 arrow, you'll be fine to cut it shorter. My nephew shot my leftover 400 spine arrows at 20-30lbs and is fine.
-
get the 500 spine victory decimator from dicks. $20 for 6. They will be fine a little bit overspined.
-
They have good test videos on YouTube, I'd buy them if I still used rage.

I was debating sending it in but funds are just tough right now to do it with. Yes it was a doe. -

Here's a good one I shot last year. -
If he lowered your peep he should have twisted or untwisted the strings. It sounds like your peep is sideways when you draw the bow back. Going to need a press to fix that. I'd try another shop.

Good, i've got off Nov 2,3,4,5,9,10,11,12,16,17,18,19,23,24,25,26. I just figured out i have more days off them i'm working! I like this 4 day weekend thing i'm doing.

bout a month ago i was having awful shoulder and elbow pain in my left arm shooting, tried to fight through it and it wasn't working, two weeks off and i was good as new, its really hard not to shoot my bow for two weeks!
-
When I was 2/3 with a rage hypo I wa shooting a 415 grain arrow 270 fps with a Hoyt charger. The shoulder blade stopped the one shot. The other two were lung liver, and lung heart pse throughs. All shots around 20 yards.
-
I prefer to check my cams with someone else and we just talk and don't try to be sneaky. The deer always come back but there used to people i guess as ones a x-mas tree farm and the other is a urban hunting area. The urban area i can hunt in jeans and a t-shirt washed in Tide soap and they still wouldn't care.
-
After shooting rage for a few years id suggest upping your arrow weight, i was 2/3 with them however if you hit shoulder blade your going to want that momentum, and KE will mean nothing. I shoot NAP sling blades which take less to open and can swivel around bone, 4/4 last year. Elite energy 335 ibo (390 grain arrow 27.5 inch draw puts me around 285 fps.)

That's progress man! i have a whole mess of 1.5 and 2.5 year old's on one property this year (rural as in 200 yards behind my house and visit my backyard frequently), but also have 3 on another property that are at least 4.5 years old and its going to be a mean rut i'm hoping with those 3 4.5 year old's all in the same area.
