All 4 are 8 points, one shooter. Nice to see some bucks on the big property I primarily gun hunt. Field edge scrape all hitting right before daylight or after.

i even give the hide to a local guy who buys them but i refuse to take any money for it.

well i will eat him, i always save about 20 lbs until the season starts so i can eat some during season until i get a deer. i got a new job this October and wont be able to take the days off i wanted to hunt so i put some meat in the freezer now and am going to give some to the property owners that allow me to hunt. if i shoot another doe it will go in my dads freezer. i never shoot anything that wont go to good use,

i made plenty mistakes when i was a young bow hunter. the first deer i shot with a bow was defiantly before legal light and wound up with me rushing down from my stand thinking this deer was dead already. i had no knowledge of how a deer dies through blood loss and it takes time. long story short i wound up tracking that deer and grid searching for over 10 hours (never found my first buck). but i did learn a lot that day and being on this site basically tough me most i know now. learn from your mistakes and get back in a stand. cant shoot them from the couch.
