Jeeeze probably 10 dozen, I bought 2 dozen when they went on sale at dicks for 40 a doz. same arrow through 2 deer. It's now my lucky arrow.

do i hunt the morning and skin in the after noon or skin in the morning and hunt the afternoon, hmmmmm.

4 pt I shot today didn't even stink yet, I was surprised.

This post is generated to those who are on the fence about mechanical broad heads. After seeing my buddy shoot a doe with one this year i decided i was going to shoot my next deer with one. i have a 65 lb hoyt charger with a 27 inch draw, standard diameter arrows finished weight of 420 grains. this includes nocturnal and rage hypodermic 125 grain. this morning i had a 4 point come in to 25 yards pretty much broadside and i let one fly. unbelievable sound when that arrow hit the deer. the arrow went a little back because i was scared to hit the shoulder however was 5 inches in the ground on the other side. not one bent blade and still razor sharp. this buck ran 20 yards, stopped, did the tail flicker and fell over! i could not believe how fast this deer died with where i shot it. after examination i did clip the lungs and liver the broad head went between both rib cages without striking any bone somehow. safe to say i will be using these from now on.

4 pt 0830 am, almost gave up early this morning before I saw him. 25 yards broadside and rage hypodermic 125 HAMMERED him. Pass through blades still sharp and straight. Shot was a little back he trotted 20 yards, did the tail flicker for 30 seconds and fell over.id guess 120-130 dressed. My buddy and I have had many close calls with him but let him walk because we didn't feel the shot was right. Glad we did.

Buck down, I am now a believer in rage broadheads wow!

I hunt with a 870 special field 20 inch Hastings rifled barrel, USE SABOTS. lead is a pain to get out of them. I have rifled sights on it and a scope mount with quick detach rings. Confident to 100 yards with it. Also just bought a used 870 wingmaster for $300 with a 20 inch smoothbore rifled sights. I've shot that to 50 and it'll be my thick woods gun this year. I hate the new ones and only buy used ones.

If I had land and people actully came and asked, I would go help them track. Shit all my friend text me when they hit one and I go track because I find it fun. Trustworthy honest hunters doing the right thing is how I look about it.

I couldn't let an animal suffer like that. Do what you think is right. But don't advertise it if you do break the law.

No way I put an arrow through the lawnmower trailor and rim, and there's no way the broadhead and arrow were fine.

It took till 230 to go find her? Hopefully she's still good!

Looks like the scrape acting is really getting busy, I'm 200 yards into the woods from this field edge.( looks like 2 8 points to me)

I'm going out regardless of these warm temps to at least check cams and sit for a couple hours.

I stretch good when I get to my stand since my Body has warmed up, when cold and stiff pulling the bow back can strain some muscles.

Nice one kludes, may want to try dragging from the front of the deer so your not dragging against the hide, I've found it to be a bit easier.

That makes absolutely no sense. It's either all deer with rifle or none.i don't have the map up right now.

Keep bow lifted while there close by, and practice drawing as compact as possible. Sometimes it helps to lower draw weight to achieve this. I concentrate on stand placement also. I like to set up in pine trees because they don't shed there leaves exposing me.
