Every few hundred shots, best thing I've ever bought is a bow sling which protects the string when carrying my bow. Mostly Only use it while dark out though.

I just plain don't trust mechanicals, I use muzzy 3 blade with no issues now however I've considered trying qad exodus and g5 montec when I get the $. But right now 6 heads for 30 Dollars is hard to beat on My budget.

I second the field and stream boots as long as your not walking through too much water, Theycan get a little heavy when wet but always warm, I have 800s -
Had a doe run right Ito my driver side mirror 2 years ago, thought she was coming in the window! This was early November so she was prolly being chased. Got out of car and she jumped up and ran off with a yearling.

I like muzzy originals myself. 35$ for. 6 then again I won't shoot deer past 40 yards and I can hit an orange at 40 with my muzzys. Any sharp one will get the job done on your setup.
