Interesting sit for me tonight. I had 4 doe cruise by at 3:30, then a little later two spike bucks came and hung out for a while by me. One of 'em only had one horn, but he was twice as fat as his 2 horned friend. Honestly, I was flabbergasted at the size of this feller. I seriously considered shooting him if I got the chance. His horn to body size ratio was totally whack. Anyway, only his skinny friend got close enough, so they both survived their minutes of proximity. Definitely seeing more deer movement when the pressure is dropping. Been keeping an eye on that.

This guy got a pass last night for the 2nd time this season. He came in with 6 doe and did some chasing. Had him at under 20 yards. Saw him way back at the beginning and he has been on cam every once in a while since then. His Daddy is still running around however, as of two days ago according to cam pics. So, I am waiting for the bigger deer. I have a feeling about this evening's sit. Let's see what happens The deer will below will be a fine beast if he makes through to next year. Fingers crossed for him.

Riots in France over high taxes

Apparently this is media spin and not quite correct. People on the ground there are saying this is a predominantly anti-EU ,anti globalist issue at its heart and the tax narrative is being pushed front and center to reduce the size and scope of the issue in terms of public consumption in other EU nations so as to try and contain the matter as being a local and smaller concern. They are terrified of mass revolt. -
You cannot love what you do not know. The West stands no chance if people are unaware of the great people, thoughts and events that forged our civilization. I no longer watch TV in a bid to better come to grips with these events and thoughts, in book form by and large. Youtube also has good resources. I would begin with Plato, Aristotle and Aquinas, the 3 great thinkers that did the most to forge Western sensibilities. And of course the New Testament, followed by the History of Europe, and then the Americas. There are excellent philosophical primers out there that take the pain out of this subject. And as with any skill one wants to develop, repetition and practice is the key. Developing understanding and learning to think is indeed a skill most people have lost. Much in part to do with the degraded training they call 'education' today. All by design. 'They' need to remake man in their own image and the tabula rasa, the 'blank slate', is the necessary starting point.
