    Should have everything I need to set her up arriving tomorrow! On the Sightmark Wraith:. Does anyone have a good site/suggestion for batteries for it? Also is there a beefier IR light for it to extend the range past 200? I'm in so deep now I might as well just finish it.

    Tomorrow morning is going to be single digits. Thinking :. Light base layer, heavy fleece base layer, heavy axis pants, fleece vest over insulation layer for the walk in, then throw on the ultra down for a brief morning sit. Probably brush bust and wind bump the rest of the day if anyone else is hunting. Sit in the blind at the end of the day if there's no action.

    I keep them updated on Google Earth pro. Only way I can keep track of them, move at least 4 every year, and add another!

    My cameras are almost 100% nocturnal now. I pulled them Saturday. Gonna be butt cold Wednesday but that's what I'm going out with the smokepoles.

    Ranged this, 13 yards to the bottom with deer track in it. About 30 yards below where I got my buck. Damn mountain goat deer.

    I hear you. If I don't get a buck opening day, especially after 6 weeks of sitting in a tree for bow, my go-to is stalking the hillside logging roads. Killed alot of bucks doing that. Makes you feel like an actual predator, not a lump in a tree.
