  1. Well I would like to see the person or persons responsible for this guys mental evaluation before he was released on supervised parole has to say about this. Seems to me they better check over every person these people are responsible for releasing.
  2. If you have nice Walnut logs or really nice hard maple trees i know a logger that may be interested. He does a 70/30 split on veneer and 64/40 on saw logs with the land owner. The land owner gets the higher percentage.
  3. I really think you should delete that picture of the scumbag in your first post. Second there is not a gun the is really called a assault rifle it is just a broad definition of things that are on a gun. We already have gun laws in NY state that ban owner ship of these. Telescoping stock Pistol grip Bayonet mount Grenade launcher Flash suppressor For shotguns: Telescoping stock Pistol grip A capacity to hold more than five rounds For handguns: Threaded barrels made to attach a barrel extender, handgrip or flash suppressor A barrel shroud that can be used as a handhold Weight of at least 50 oz. when unloaded
  4. I love Duck Dynasty, thing is I don't think much of the stuff they do is staged, i just think that is the way they are. I read some wheres Phil almost did not sign up for another season, because he was getting pissed off because they always wanted to keep doing things over to get the perfect shot, and he told them that was not how he did things.
  5. How many people in NY realize there is a huge 5000 acre hunting preserve north of Montezuma Swamp. It is called Savannahdu and owned by Bob Congel. Also the average person will never get to go there because it is by invitation only. Bob Congel bought up 5000 acres of land and fenced it in. He even blocked off some roads because he owned both sides of the road. http://www.savannahdhu.com/home/index.php
  6. Here is a great must read article for all deer hunters http://www.the-leader.com/blogs/forestry_makes_a_difference/x1110685366/DEER-HUNTERS-RIGHTS-PROPERTY-RIGHTS-FORESTRY
  7. I am guessing if it has been picked clean it has been there awhile. I found a dead doe the second day of gun season in my woods. I have a trail game on this deer, at it has hardly been touched and we are talking 2 weeks. So maybe that deer was shot some where's else and dies there and someone found what was left og him an took the rack. I have found 3 dead deer this year 2 bucks and a doe. The bucks where from bow seasons and stripped clean, this doe has only been chewed on alittle on the hind quarter.
  8. Thank you everyone.I have scored several times on Turkey Day, once was 137" 8 Point and the other was my 14 point. So that day has been very good to me.
  9. Ok, found the other picture I seen. Also check out NY Hunt Club Facebook Page
  10. No their facebook page. They have some slammers on that page http://www.facebook.com/pages/New-York-Antler-Outdoors/206862056008758?ref=ts&fref=ts
  11. Not sure if they changed it to hunt Cornell, but they used to do a back ground check and then you had to sign up for a area and that all had to be done by Early Oct.You have Buttermilk Falls and Treman Parks that you can bow hunt.
  12. Well just got time to post a picture of my nice little 7 point I took Thanksgiving morning. He just came walking by my stand about 8 am at 50 yards !!!!!!!!
  13. Has anyone seen this amazing deer ?This is a 15 point shot by Vance Carr in Wayne County, some wheres near Clyde.
  14. If you ever need help with hunting him Cabin, I have a few free days left for deer season !!!!!!! LOL I would be awesome if you got him.
  15. Wow, I must be unlucky I have been checked several times over the years. I have hunted the Fingerlakes National Forest and always seem to see game wardens or forest rangers.
  16. Back in high school we where at a party at someones house because there parents where away. It was in a development so they told people to park out back near a maintenance building, I parked down the road instead at a furniture store had a nice mustang, and boy am I glad I did. Later that night we heard some noise look out the maintenance guys had the backhoe and dug a trench across the drive and blocked everyone in. Needs to say I got the hell out of dodge just as the police where arriving.
  17. I went looking at a Parker bow and a lady I knew was shooting the 3D course and she's is like you need to shoot a Bowtech, and after shooting that Bowtech the Parker was not even a option.
  18. I think the chasing is picking up, as I saw 3 dead deer along the road yesterday morning all with in 1/2 mile of each other.
  19. The white deer are on the Old Army Depot in Romulus not Watkins.
  20. I was walking on a edge of a soybean field on the second day of bow season many years ago. I was looking in the woods, when something told me to look in the field. There in the field bedding down looking at me was a beautiful 6 point. The area he was in the soybeans seemed darker. He was about a 100 yards away.So i ducked down and started to belly crawl towards him. I get about 80 yards from where I think he was and peek up and don't see him, but I did not see him run. So i looked around and nothing. So I stood up, and next think I know at about 15 yards away his head appears and turns and looks right at me. He stands up and starts to move, I take a shot and it hits him near the back up the rib cage. He continues to run through a hedgerow, and I run to get through the hedgerow and see him stop about 150 yards away in a cut corn field and fall over. He weighed was a 185 lb 6 point. That was one memorable bow hunt for me.
  21. In NY you can shot them, in other states you can not
  22. LP is not that bad if you own your own tank. If you own a 150 lb tank you can get propane delivered for $1.69 a pound right now in my area.
  23. I have not heard anything about it. But will ask around
  24. I love hunting standing corn.I love to walk the field really slow row by row. I have shot alot of deer out of standing corn fields.
