I have a Toro Zero Turn mower 54" cut and low it. I can mow 4 acres in about 3 1/2 hours over at my rent property. Don't really worry about the gas prices as I can write it off on my taxes.

Time to shop, I Got my Pistol Permit
HectorBuckBuster replied to HectorBuckBuster's topic in General Chit Chat
Another cool thing about Schuyler County is they give you are coupon which you can use and take the pistol with you that day, then you have 10 days to get it added to your permit, you can not just shoot the pistol before you goto the county clerk to add it. -

The wait was not bad, as they told me the turn around time was at least 2 months. -

I have not really though about it yet. Was waiting to get the permit first. I know lots of people that go to Interlaken Shop -
I applied for my permit on Jan 9,2012 and today I was at the county building and stopped in to check the status of my permit. Next thing I know the lady behind the counter says you just saved me from mailing it out.Waited a few minutes for her to finished up the paper work and walked out with my concealed pistol permit. Now its time to go shopping.

I sent then a nice little email and this was the response I received To clarify our position, Camping World as America's Largest Outdoor Company, believes in personal freedom. In this country, people are free to choose. This issue at hand is not about whether people should be able to hunt or not. Our company is neither for nor against hunting. We are for personal choice and having people enjoy the outdoors in whatever fashion they choose. However, in our opinion, if and when the hunting of endangered species occurs, whether in the United States or abroad, it is not acceptable to even the most avid of hunters. We remain strong in our conviction of preserving the outdoors, protecting our great country's lands and the freedom to choose. Thank you, Camping World Customer Care

Seem like Camping World is Anti-Hunting.I would guess a huge amount of their customers are hunters. Donald Trump's sons' bloody hunting trip in Africa last year didn't just put a dent in the local wildlife population -- it exterminated a lucrative advertising deal on "Celebrity Apprentice" ... by scaring away a big sponsor. Camping World CEO Marcus Lemonis tells TMZ, the company's TV spots already aired on this season of "Celebrity Apprentice" -- but he insists, "I wouldn't spend another nickel with them." Marcus adds, "I am totally disgusted by the [hunting] pics I have seen and was surprised to see them ... Money is spent but wow I'm really shocked." As TMZ previously reported, Donald's sons (Donald Jr. and Eric) went on a hunting safari in Zimbabwe a year ago, killing several animals -- including an elephant, crocodile, kudu, civet cat and waterbuck.

I would not run anything but the Polaris 0w-40 Synthetic oil in it. The Sportmans from the late 90 to the mid 2000's had alot of trouble with the cam shaft and the exhaust lob wearing off. I bought one from my neighbor that had this problem. The old cam only had 1 oil hole per lob on the cam, the new redesigned cam had two lob oil holes and they where alittle larger in size. You can get the whole oil change kit at a Polaris Dealer for like $35.00 which includes the oil and filter.

Its just depends on the turkey. I had some come running into decoys. Other times they wanted nothing to do with them. I don't use a decoy too much now days. Going out the night before and roasting the birds, then sneaking in before light between the gobbler and the hen is the best option.

Don't buy it now, the Duck Stamp does not expire like a hunting license on Sept 30th. I think a duck stamp expires in June 30 if I remember correctly. So buying one now for the fall you would just be wasting your money.

Looking for ATV

I have a Suzuki 500 4x4 manual shift tranny, this is great a plowing snow. I also have a 98 Polaris sportsman which does a great job plowing, but hate the reverse cut out that is has on it.You can over ride it with a button, but that gets a pain. Also have a Kawasaki Bayou 300 4x4 this is full time 4 wheel drive. Nice little machine to use around the yard as it is smaller and turns sharper then the 500's. You can get some good deals. I only paid $500 the 1998 Kawasaki Bayou 4x4 and this thing was in great shape, only had to buy a battery. The Suzuki I bought brand new for $5600, and the Polaris I bought for $400 bucks (from neighbor,he got a new one, and said the old one did not run right), had a bad cam. Ended up putting a new cam and rocker, and a stator. One down side of a Polaris Sportsman is takes a 0w30 weight oil (the 0 is not a error) in Synthetic . This is why alot of the Sportmans have a cam failure, as people but the wrong oil in them. -
I have been doing the P90x for 4 weeks so far. I love the work outs. Yes, it did take like a week or so to get through the whole 15 minutes of AB Ripper with out stopping. Now I can pretty much fly through it accept those darn backward bicycles things. Just can't seem the get those down. The Kenpo is awesome. Not doing it to lose much weight, just want to get in shape alittle more. Had to pass on their food idea's did not see much on there that I liked.

WOw , that estimate you got is unreal. I bet he is figuring the cost of ripping the old metal siding off. Just one question, is the siding metal or Aluminum ? If it is Aluminum, that may just pay for your vinyl siding as clean aluminum for scrap is running .60 cents per pound as of a few days ago.Wow even at lowes if you went with White or Brown the siding is $170 a box and you would need 16 boxes. That only $2700 , then says $3000 for your j-chanell(you will need alot of these as you have 52 windows) and corners and nails. You can buy pump jacks at lowes that used 2 x 4 nailed together to make your posts. The vinyl siding is easy as can be the most important thing is to get the starter strip nice and straight. -

I did my whole house with vinyl. I used 10 square. With everything for my house with Vinyl Siding, J-Channel, undersill then I used fan fold underlayment and nails (you used alot of them and $10 a box I think I have about $200 worth of nails in my house). It was like $3500 total. If you are near a HEP/Main Street Lumber , you can get vinyl siding there for about $120 a box. WHich is a great deal. Pump jacks work great. Wow that is a big house. You would need almost 4 boxes of siding to do 735 square feet. So you are looking at $500-700 there, then your j channel , plus your corners, and undersill, and nails. And then if you put a fan fold down. -

Looks like you can hunt them in the US.Looks like the cheapest price is about $3000.Read the first link, they can be raised as cattle, so it appear that you are spend $3000 to gte 800-1500 of beef. They say they can be pretty tame. http://www.countryworldnews.com/news/headlines/949--wondrous-watusi-cattle-make-ranch-unique.html http://www.texashuntlodge.com/watusi_hunt_package.asp http://www.floridahuntingpreserves.com/watusi.html http://www.stonecreekhunting.com/packages/
