Set of ears , set of legs , button buck and fawn this morning. Nothing since. I'm starting to get a bit chilly out here. Was going to slow walk in snow but I'll man up and sit til o deer thirty

Why do want pass thru? If getting expansion it's dumping energy. I shot 3 consecutive deer with light fields and all where lodged under skin of opposite shoulder. One doe was shot from about 25 feet with 3". She crumbled right there. If your talking SST's I've heard they pass thru with no expansions. I myself want energy dump not pass thrus.

Every year with a deer on back of car on carrier I get people flipping me the bird as I'm driving it to processor. Some thumbs up but mostly one fingered salutes.

I started a list a month ago. Everytime I thought of something I would need I would write it down. As things got packed into backpack or hunting jacket / pants I'd cross them off. Double checked before leaving this morning. And yes , I have entirely too much crap in my backpack I also make list when we go on vacation. Never have forgotten anything yet except that time I had daughter make checklist for things to pack. We arrived in Michigan and she/ we forgot her fully packed suitcase. Oh and this one time we went fishing and I forgot my waders ...

She peeked around the tree and he was staring at her , head bob, foot stomping etc. Even directly down wind of us he never really got wary. Eventually he meandered off. Yes. Much easier to dial up if needed than down when deer is close.
