Thanks for the info, Yotehntr. The property is off of route 28 and borders Oaks Creek. I'm primarily interested in it for deer hunting. But, the creek leads to the lake. So, I was hoping that fishing and duck hunting would be options as well. Do you know anything about the deer and turkey hunting in the Richfield Springs area?

I might be looking at some hunting land in this area and was curious if anyone knows anything about the fishing and duck hunting on Lake Canadarago. Thanks for any info you might be able to share.

Fair point about having Charlie Sheen coming out against him. On the other hand, having Sarah and Bristol Palin come out in support doesn't exactly lend any credibility either.

I don't understand the controversy here. He has the constitutional right to make ignorant and silly statements and his employer has the right to suspend or terminate him if they feel that his statements reflect negatively on the company. His right to free speech was not taken away. He's simply being held accountable for his statements. The company has the right to make sure that the shows that they air reflect well on them.

Not sure why, but I'm having trouble copying the link to the article. It's in today's Newsday. If anyone else can copy it, I think you'd find it interesting. Interesting- see the part about changing restrictions for bowhunters to allow within 150ft of buildings.

I have a pair of Cabela's MT050 Glo-mits and they're great in cold weather- you can use a thin glove liner underneath if you need to. They're not so great in the snow because of the lift-away cover.

what kind of floor do you have now? not sure if there would be any less prep for tile than for an epoxy.

Ok Doc. Whatever. I was never outraged over this thread. I just pointed out that it might be a good idea to verify the source of that poster before blasting the group that the poster was intended to discredit. You seem to be exactly the type of guy that that phony poster was hoping to rile up.

I agree with you. But, as we saw from the early posts, there were some that were quick to run with it before checking or questioning the authenticity.

Ants, if it was meant to be satire, the person who created it would have taken credit. It was intended to discredit the Brady Campaign. You would surely be outraged if the Brady Campaign put out a poster that attributed false statements to the NRA.

Doc, nobody defended the Brady Campaign. But, thanks for pointing out that our perception of their message makes it easy to believe any non-sensical propaganda about left-wing extremists that gets fabricated by right-wing extremists.

Just curious... how do you guys feel now that you know it's a phony. Are you as outraged as you were when you thought it was put out by the Brady Campaign? Do you still want to flog whoever put it out?

Bubba, my comment has nothing to do with left or right. I just think it's amazing that nobody questions the authenticity of that poster. I ask again, will you be as outraged by the content of that poster when you find out that it was actually produced by a right wing gun nut hoping to discredit the Brady Campaign?

I agree that the person who dreamed up this poster should be flogged. However, I doubt that it's a real poster. My bet is that it was made by someone who opposes the Brady Campaign. Will you still have such strong feelings if that proves to be the case?
