Well, I bought the 5x8 from Lowes. They had the best price I could find for a new one. I looked around but couldn't find a used one in decent shape. Spent two hours in the DMV getting it registered. Now, have to deal with getting the trailer wires spliced into my SUV. This has turned out to be more of a hassle than I expected.

Thanks for the advice guys.

I'm hoping to buy a quad and need to get a trailer also. I'd like to buy the smallest trailer possible. I've never owned a quad before. My question is this: will a 4' x 6' trailer be big enough for one atv?

32 acres in lower ulter cty

Any idea of the final sales price? -
That really sucks. I've always been concerned about that. My place is just a shack with no utilities except some wires for lights that I run off of a battery. I don't leave anything there of any value- I even bring my kerosene heater back and forth with me. When I was upstate this past spring I noticed that someone had broken in. Luckily they didn't trash the place. They just looked around and left. But, the feeling of being violated really is a bummer.

Culver, I'd love to see your sausage recipe, if you don't mind sharing it.

Nice. Good luck.

What channels are these shows on?

Right, the only possible intent for this could be to take away your guns. No chance that the government has any interest in preserving endangered species, protecting the economies of countries who depend on wildlife tourism, minimizing trafficking in illegal game, etc, etc. Simply another ruse to get your guns.

OK, thanks.

Fantail, if you don't mind me asking...did the logging work cost you or put money in your pocket? I'm thinking about having some logging done and have no idea what's involved.

There have been a bunch of threads on here before about timber companies that lease land in CNY. They always seem to have properties available for pretty reasonable prices.

I think Christie would have a legitimate shot in the general election. But, I don't think he'd survive the Republican primary- anyone he's running against is going to trot out all of the pictures of him with his arm around Obama, and all the party hardliners are gonna vote against him.- 26 replies

Overlooked simple DIY out of state hunt.
virgil replied to TheTruth2's topic in Out of New York Hunting
What about the other guys that won the lottery for the park you were hunting? I would think that having 20 guys in 700 acres could get a little crowded. Either way, it sounds great. -

How familiar were you with the hunting land before your first trip? Did you scout it much in advance? -
When do folks put their cameras in
virgil replied to eagle rider's topic in Trail Camera Reviews and Info
Eagle Rider, if you're talking about the co-op land on Long Island, my best recommendation would be to make sure that you protect yourself from ticks and chiggers if you're going into the woods on Sept 1. -
I'm jealous that you can see these photos and think about waiting a few years. If I was lucky enough to see a deer like that, I wouldn't hesitate.

The correlation is probably the shared demographic- active, outdoors oriented males aged between 16 and 60. I'm no marketing expert, but the correlation seems obvious.

I haven't been hiding. I've posted a few times recently. All's well, thanks.

Rollng Stone should be ashamed of themselves. I could understand putting him on the cover as a news story if the photo didn't depict him as a rock star. If I'm not mistaken, didn't they also put Charles Manson on the cover once?
