  1. It looks a lot roomier in the top pic than it looks in the outside pic below it!!
  2. One or two of those may be big enough to eat!!
  3. 10/3 pm 55 Got out in the far stand behind the house for 2.5 hours. At 6pm I had a spike trying to be a 6 point come in and came right to me. He knew he smelled something but was not smart enough yet to leave. He played mister curious and walked over to my cam and stuck his nose in that. Walked completely around me at less than 5 yards ending up right at the base of my ladder stand. He then eased off after about 15 minutes of this. I heard another off to my side walking but never came in.
  4. 10/3 am 40 degrees light breeze Down in the outer hole stand. I sat for 3 hours of light and saw one coyote that offered no shot. It was a very nice morning but slow.
  5. That's a corker!! Nice job. Why did you wait overnight? Not sure of hit? I just ask because here if I leave overnight I am feeding coyotes. I only do it if I have too.
  6. Thought he was gonna climb up with me! That's my boot lol
  7. Lol neither! Sits in the yard and watches the deer she knows not to make a sound or chase them. She does chase squirrels! Have tried her blood trailing without much luck. She also is afraid of water! Fortunately I don't waterfowl or coon hunt
  8. My vote is wind/ bird A year of wind and storms...........
  9. I have filled it out for close to 20 years. And no tin foil hats here! Or DEC released mountain lions![emoji41]
  10. Different dates in different areas. I don't duck hunt but was talking to a guy yesterday who was going out this morning.
  11. Sitting in the dark waiting for the morning rush! 40 and just a light breeze
  12. 10/2 am 39 degrees Got out for 2 hours in the tower blind out back. Just getting gear straightened out and drop my quiver and it bangs against the steel racking on the way down 18 feet. That made an especially not good, very loud gong sound! Not surprisingly, I did not see a deer this morning.
  13. 10/1 pm 59 degrees Got out for two hours in the Hole stand on another property. About 6pm had a doe and two small ones coming in. They were feeding and out of range slowly working towards a lane. For 20 minutes they avoided the lane and after a bit the doe must have caught an errant breeze, not sure how the wind was in my face. Anyway she blew a couple times. They were not too alarmed but fed back the way they came. One little one finally crossed the lane but not mama. At sunset I got down and took a few steps and jumped one coming in from the other direction. Not sure what but alone so I am thinking a small buck, I just saw its south end.
  14. Just getting in my tower blind this morn and go to lean my quiver against the side and drop it. Half way down gong against the steel racking frame at 6:20am That was loud!
  15. Lol right! As I sit looking at an apple tree out front with apples laying all over!
  16. Get all set up and zip open my pack and my nice fresh picked big honey crisp apple goes falling 22 feet boom. I had to climb down and salvage the in not smooshed part! Bummer dinner is a long ways off!
