  1. I have found I do not like the inner loins as much pulled out warm and cooked right up. Always liked better later or even after frozen. Now the two best parts on a deer the two backstraps yup, then the heart! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  9. It said right on the DEC site what was going to be available ALL day Saturday so when this was not showing up on Saturday figured the site was screwed up and to wait till it was fixed. I hope they let you guys swap them somehow. The old system worked perfect but hey we needed to spend millions cause it did not "communicate with other systems"? As far as I know that did not bother anyone in DEC just the other departments that could not mine the DEC license information!

I always have a bottle with me, this time of year apple juice in it, When cold out small thermos of hot coffee. I also pack a sandwich and usually have a granola bar or two in the pack as well. Never know how long I may be out. Not having a drink when you are dragging a deer for hours sucks!! I also pack my minor first aid container for close hunts, I have a bigger one for jaunts in the Dacks.
  11. yea I would bet good except the inner loins. Get it rinsed out good and get it butchered.
  12. lol Sometimes by the end of bow I am so waiting to get a gun in my hands. After just what you said ...just outa range, wrong angle, to close..... And after bow is done I miss it oh so much!!!!
  13. AT congratz You must remember we are a group that is very passionate about our sport and when we think someone is disrespecting the game we will let them know. If that is what it took to get you steered in the right direction then well done. I hope it was just a greenhorn moment and a learning experience.
  14. That is the best kind of product to sell!! One that can not be determined if it works or not. So Pickle does not get more riled up, I have not used one. The science suggests in theory in a closed environment this might work. In the outdoor environment with wind blowing this little machine somehow grabs up any scent particle coming off your body head to toe and bonds the ozone particle before it blows off. Hmmmm if you believe that well God bless ya. If it sounds good to you and you like it is all that matters and the Brooklyn Bridge Sales department would like your contact information. Peace
  15. Yea what those guys said be safe!! My AP when I ratchet it that boy ain't moving up down sideways nothing.
  16. Shoot one of them there does man!! We hungry!
  17. 11/3 am 42 Finally wind was not bad! Got out back for 2 hours. Around 8am had 2 run in behind me right into my downwind. I get my bow and clip on and I move my wrist back to put tension on the release getting ready to draw if I get a shot. Well I did not have the release on all the way and the release pops off and the arrow goes into the ground 2 feet out and 20 down! Nice! I get another arrow on and the one a big dark doe hits a lane stops broadside and looking away. I range her and 44 yards, just too much for me. I will shoot out to 40 if perfect but she was edgy in my downwind so she turns walking away. The smaller one is at 34 but no angle and she was not to big anyway....At least I finally saw a deer that was not within 10 minutes of first or last light!! Not sure why they were running, nothing came in behind them.
  18. 11/2 pm 39? windy Out back for 3 hours. A little before 5 I see a deer running out right of me about 100 yards out upwind? Hmm nothing then 10 minutes later from where the last one started I see one run the opposite way and swings behind me still over 100 out. I grab binos and find 2 down near the creek bottom. They cut walking behind me about 50 yards out 2 real small ones. Not sure if I saw 3 or 4 all together. Bro and Bro in law nothing.
  19. 11/2 am 37? wiiinnddyy Down in the hole for 2 hours maybe. Was windy and nothing going on 3 of us and zip. Did pull the cam and a nice 10 point was in the scrape at 1:30 that morning. Little early!
