We could do only 2 deer entered per person. So folks in no doe areas don't get over penalized. Does do count but only 3 points, bucks 5 and plus one point per 1 inch or more antler point. You can upgrade your deer if you get a higher point one later in season. We would need an equal amount of folks per area or just do a draft of teams of like 6 each from wherever...

According to this map Syracuse is now in the finger Lakes? Dang I should be shooting bigger deer!!
-
Lol this thread is great, and i've been outa likes for hours......stupid site rule! I am about as central as you can get. If that team needs me I promise to let any buck less than a 3+ year old pass until 11/20!! Or the total weight of venison in my freezer drops below 5 pounds..........

Thoughts and prayers your sons way Eddie. Stay safe down there. I swear I’d vote to make horns illegal there! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Robhuntandfish will realize he would see more deer if he did not smell like Walleye fish fry. Uses secret cover spray and kills a slammer and 2 does. Moog guides a forum member to a sweet 9 point on his property. Deer was almost not seen due to hunter being distracted by 45 inch TV in blind. Biz shoots a bobcat with his bow at 18 yards. Steuben Jerry one of his family shoots the biggest buck out of us all this year. WNYBuckHunter posts at least 30 different bucks that are bigger than anything I see this season.... FastEddie hunts 78 glorious days and takes a nice buck and a doe.

Interesting.... I always thought i was different lol. I have tried them fresh right out of a deer and was very disappointed. I actually think they are better after being frozen. I don't grind them but they are not my favorite cuts. As for the processing in the field. Good to try and know but for me I'll process hanging in my neat setup or send to the butcher. I actually like dragging a deer, always have. I've probably dragged over 100 deer I would hate to think how far lol. It is part of the hunt to me.

I remember hitting Arcadia a bit after dark. Had, at the time, my young wife drop me off with the tent and gear and sent her to get live lobsters. By the time she got back I had camp set up and fire going and we ate lobsters cooked over hot coals with our fingers. Oh so good. The stars there are so bright without all the light pollution. Good memories! Man I miss my 20’s And 30’s And 40’s lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

It’s deer, it’s deceased and it’s delicious!! I’m down to about 8 packs of loins, we got what 43 days till bow / 8 = one every 5/6 days. Shits getting serious now! Oh and those shrooms were definitely sautéed in butter and coffee stout. Yum. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

The wife has the big "50" coming up and the days of Covid makes any plan difficult. Any big party has obviously been scrapped. Was thinking a small close group of family and a couple friends. So 9-10 folks to do a finger lakes winery tour by boat. Does anybody have any insight or recs? I wanted to look to see if it was an option. All the wineries have space for open outdoor seating to distance. As none of us want to be indoors anywhere. We obviously would be the only group on the boat. If anyone has any recommendations it would be appreciated. Thanks.

I checked and all my charges were correct, you may be right. If you hit a hung up accept again you may have caused that. I found the site very slow but otherwise simple. I did like the fact donating to Venison Donation and Cons Fund were prominent and easy so maybe that program will get a good boost.

Yikes, I'll have to check, I did my kids and myself so I may have a lot of charges lol

Nice, I like that one in pic 4 especially.

I have a bunch of loaded trees and a couple with not many at all. A lot of them dropping.
-
Completely disagree. But you do you..... my sharp and your sharp may not be the same... :-)

I sharpen all my broadheads. I have never been happy enough with any out of the package. I have a neat little ceramic V handheld that I have had for years.

Figured I’d start a new string as I’m prepping for the season 46 days away! I’ve had great success with mock scrapes and licking branches tied up in the past. I’m a big fan. Anyhow I have a primary scrape under an Apple tree 35 yards from the tower. The branch broke off a few years ago and every year I go find a new live branch and secure it up. I saw a fake licking branch kit online and I figured I’d give it a whirl. You still use 12”-16” fresh piece on the end. I think it will work well. We will see. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Hot Italian Wild Boar Meatballs with a homemade fresh sauce and garlic bread. I am really enjoying the herb garden growing so well this year and wild boar! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Most of my trees are loaded with apples. And some of them are already dropping. The deer have been on them multiple times a day looking for fresh fallen. Most of my trees all drop prior to the bow opener.
