  1. There are so many people poised to vote for Trump, but who won't advertise it or say it, that this isn't even going to be close. The silent majority is fully awake, and we call it the "monster vote". Trump 2016
  2. Hillary Clinton, as U.S.senator from NYS vowed to bring 200,000 new jobs to upstate. We lost more than 6,000 jobs, some say as many as 40,000 jobs, during her tenure. Her major accomplishments were renaming a roadway and a bridge. Vote wisely.
  3. Powerful talking points in that speech there Uptown.
  4. One of the more interesting 'insights' into this was made on a social media site, (my apologies for lack of direct attribution) : "He's just the father, and has no responsibility for his son's actions". Yet Hillary Clinton wants to hold firearms manufacturers and dealers responsible for the actions of their customers. This is cognitive dissonance.
  5. Individualism vs collectivism. Americanism vs globalism. "We The People" vs the established political class. It's frightening that U.S. citizens would somehow find this a difficult choice.
  6. That certainly sucks, TF. On the other hand, if the municipal pipes clog completely you'd end up with the same issue at a different time.
  7. That's a looooong run. The "hydro-jet" is the answer.
  8. If the Party runs down the collectivist rabbit hole, why should I follow them? Welcome to the new America, where we actually have a second-party option for the first time in roughly 3 decades.
  9. I'll second the 'main waste drain clog' theory. Probably just downstream from the toilet. If there's no immediately accessible clean-out for a snake, the toilet will have to be removed and the snake can be run directly through the toilet flange in the floor and steered downstream to clear the line. New closet bolts and wax seal and you'll be back in business, and clean out the trap at the tub since you're already mucking around in the stuff. It's not hard to do, and I'm sure there are tutorials out there. The length of the snake will depend on the actual distance to the clog, but I'd be willing to bet it's within a few feet of the toilet.
  10. The Miracle on Ice in 1980! I remember it very well.
  11. This is coming from a carpenter and cabinetmaker: Excellent work!!!
  12. The only thing I can say is "think really small" when it comes to bat houses. They're very cool and the bats do a heck of a job at eating bugs, but if properly located you'll have a hundred of them living in a 6" wide by 2" deep 'house' in no time. Make it bigger than that and you'll be shoveling bat guano more than hunting, fishing or spending time with your family. JMO
  13. I honestly don't know how much longer the party can keep covering for her. People can hate on Trump all they want, but he and his kids are running a private business conglomerate that makes almost a million bucks a day, and you don't do that if you're mentally defective and prone to "short-circuiting". Clinton is off the rails.
  14. That's what I'm hoping for, Predate, but the reset button is inside and mounted on the heating element so I'll have to dig into it either way.
  15. I build houses and drive farm machinery for a living. I can usually fix tools, trucks, and tractors when the need arises, but household appliance repair is new to me. I appreciate any and all insight prior to the surgery scheduled for tomorrow.
  16. Just recently one of the Bloomberg anti-gun groups suggested to leftist/collectivist politicians that they should substitute the term 'gun lobby' for the term 'NRA'. They have. This effectively placed all 2A rights proponents into one convenient basket for them, whether the individual is an NRA member or not. These people are not actually anti-NRA, or even anti-gun. They're anti-individual-rights. The NRA is composed of individual citizens, as you've said, and the anti's have been repeatedly hammered for years for trying to tie firearms manufacturers and related retail businesses to the funding of the NRA. The anti's know this claim is a lie, and the citizens are beginning to realize it as well. The NRA is certainly vocal, but unlike the politicians, their financial support comes entirely from grassroots sources. It gives the anti's 'splodey-heads' to think about that chink in the armor of their self-righteous narrative.
  17. Youtube is definitely my go-to spot for this kinda' stuff. Tomorrow is the day for exploratory surgery!
  18. It's a Bosch electric that was gifted to me by my sister a few years ago for doing work on her house. They ended up needing a stackable set-up. Anyhow, there's no heat. I found some trouble-shooting info on-line and it seems like the heating element is going to be the likely culprit. I haven't actually gotten into it with the multi-tester yet, though, and I'm hoping for a circuit-breaker/reset button to magically appear. ;-] Anyone here have any appliance repair knowledge and/or recommendations for parts suppliers when the time comes?
  19. Nothing wrong with that scene my friend.
  20. I like it a lot! Check the knock/point/broadhead as well. Nice job!
  21. I don't have TV. Is this stuff dumb 'n dumber TV? Or is TV in general just getting dumb 'n dumber? "Hold my beer and watch this!" has replaced the pledge of allegiance.
  22. They're one critter that's able to effectively shoot back Biz. Be vewy, vewy careful at night after a few 'pops'.
