  1. Positive attitude! "Whether you think you can or you think you can't, you're right." -- Henry Ford
  2. ... Very funny, but far too serious. One of Gavin McInnes' best!
  3. If the federal government over the last 30+ years was actually doing any real good for the American citizens we wouldn't even be having these discussions.
  4. Maybe a week in Cuba as a 'transition' stop. Then head straight to Venezuela, the most recent shining example of what Clinton has to offer.
  5. 12 fps is approaching hummingbird speed! Very nice shots!
  6. Paul Manafort joined on as Trump's campaign chairman to stop the delegate 'stealing' that was going on toward the end of the primaries, and to ensure a successful Republican convention. Manafort did both of those things extremely well because he's one of the best at it. His job was done and he resigned. You're talking about things of which you have zero knowledge. I'll expect an ad-hominem attack or DNC talking point response soon. At least you're entertaining.
  7. Steve Crowder is hilarious! He's done some serious take-downs of anti-gun people in interviews over the last few years. ISIS groups have also put a bounty on his head, similar to the Salman Rushdie thing, for his mocking criticism of Islam. As a result, Crowder is always armed, even in his studio, and he's also become a martial arts expert. If you look closely in the video, you can just make out the slight bulge on his right hip. ;-]
  8. Hillary Clinton sold 20% of US uranium mining rights to Russia. In many cases she sold not only the mining rights, but the actual government land. It wasn't hers to sell.
  9. I had to look around to find your original thread, Eddie, but I remembered it, and thought this would fit in. ;-]
  10. That you would find such an admittedly unscientific poll somehow laughable is a shame. It's likely the most honest poll in Iowa.
  11. From Sundance at theconservativetreehouse.com: "The Iowa State Fair has a booth where attendees are given the opportunity to cast their vote on the 2016 presidential race by placing a corn kernel in a jar. The poll is obviously unscientific; however, nor is it manipulated by the media, it simply is an opportunity for fair goers to show who they are supporting in the upcoming presidential race. The fair is in day #5 and 43,702 people have visited the WHO TV Channel 13 News Booth to register their opinion. Here are the results so far: (link) and Website (link) Candidate Donald Trump is holding an actual 12 point lead (56% -vs- 44%) with actual people. 43,702 actual people. [Trump 24,284 votes, Clinton 19,418 votes] Quite a difference from the media polling, huh."
  12. Just to be clear here. You're saying it's not the voters who elect the officials, but rather it's the officials they elect? Do you maybe see a disconnect with this thinking? The ad hominem attack is entertaining, though. Please, do continue with those.
  13. Apologies for that last map, it's from the 1950's or so and I can't seem to delete it.
  14. So, in fact, NYC does actually dictate the laws for the rest of the state, simply by being a densely-packed urban area. You're contradicting yourself. This how the last election went. I like this:
  15. I had a similar one in the 1970's but with "tree-gripping rubber components". It's how I learned to pay attention in a tree stand.
  16. Thanks for the info Larry.
  17. Have a great birthday, Larry!
  18. diplomat, I'm saying look closely at the reason why the south is being portrayed as the biggest benefactor. It's precisely because that's where the federal government tends to send the most money. It's also where they need the most votes. It's about 'optics' rather than actual need. The inner-city ghettos already vote Democrat and there's no longer a need to showcase them as needy with taxpayer money. What have Democrats done for any big city in this country? They've targeted the rural poor because they're available as voters to be bought. That's why they get the money, and a promise that life will be great if you vote for us.
  19. The democrats already own the northeast, northwest, every large city, and essentially both coasts of the US. It's only logical that they would shift their bribery 'influence' to the southern states. It started with LBJ in the early 1960's. It's not that there are more needy people in the 'confederate' states, but that more money appears to be going there. When you watch a magician perform, focus closely on the hand that's not moving. The fact is, the 'voter plantation' is not working so well for them any more, and that's why they're turning to increased immigration. The actual US citizens are smartening up to this game; black, brown, white, and yellow. And they're voting accordingly. So the Democrat solution is to change the voting base to people who haven't yet learned the trick. This is key to understanding what's going on in this country today.
  20. At this point it seems to be just another government screw-up, but several non-gov people are definitely looking into it.
  21. I'll toss out another option for the OP here, since it seems there might be some bird hunting in the future: A shotgun with a bird and slug barrel combo. They're not terribly expensive, and a case of skeet loads is a pretty good way to quickly become familiar and comfortable with gun handling and overall shooting skills. Also, I've never seen anything kill a close-range deer more dead than a well-placed 12 Ga slug. Just my 2 cents.
  22. Welcome aboard uberyan! Glad to have you with us.
