    Got a late start cause of the weather. The one area we looked to park was snowed in. So i drove back to the marina to park. I had mapped out some ledges that I wanted to hit but since we parked on the south side i wasn’t prepared to hike across the lake to hit the spots I wanted to. Great day nonetheless. From what I saw nobody was having any luck yesterday.

    Looking to get out this weekend to ice fish with some buddies. We are novices. I been doing my best research on ice conditions. Are any of you near schroon or fourth lake? And would you know the ice conditions. I think they should be more than adequate this weekend. Or if anyone knows ice conditions for the catskill region that would be helpful as well. Thanks.

    That is true. I spend a good amount of time in Florida. And I really enjoy what’s going on down there. There are tons of people wearing masks. Tons of people not wearing masks. And everybody’s moving on with their lives happy. Nobody seems to be judging each other as far as I can tell

    Hard to move on when we have sheeple wearing masks outdoors…. Now that everyone has had ample access to the vaccine it would be nice to move on with life as simply as you stated. Whatever your level of comfortability might be, thats on you. Whatever risks you feel like you are comfortable taking or not taking in your daily life is fine. That’s my pipe dream.

    People on this own forum have posted pictures of themselves wearing a mask outdoors. Im not sure which is worse. Wearing a mask outside or wearing one alone in your car lol.

    Does anyone know a rabbit guide? A couple buddies and myself been talking about rabbit hunting but we dont have a dog. We been looking for guides but mainly find snowshoe hare guides in the daks. Anything in the hudson valley or catskills anyone knows about? Id probably go to the daks but would obviously rather stay closer.

    I’ve kicked brush with no luck and I had a german shorthaired pointer that couldn't care less about fur. But i went with a rabbit dog once and it was the most fun hunt I have ever had. So much action. Id say rabbit hunting is may favorite with quail next to it. Not to mention rabbit meat is great.
