Still.. the genetics of any species that have offspring alive in that genetic line will continue to carry on the genetic traits in that line unless disrupted by some other factor... so the youngest of the group carries the genetic traits just as well as the oldest in the group. By taking out the oldest we still leave room for the younger to take the place of the older in the genetic line... it's when we start eliminating the youngest in the line that there is danger of eliminating that gene pool.

Sorry but that's not how it works... it's okay to have an opinion about AR's, but at least take the time to learn something about whitetail biology so that the opinion is based on something factual.

You need to listen to their results at the end... I also made my own observations as well while watching. It wasn't rocket science and it didn't take a rocket scientist to see that one would be an idiot to spend big money on a cooler. In my opinion... you would be an idiot to by a Yeti cooler for $400 unless you need to keep Grizzlies away from your beer or are planning to drag your cooler on a chain behind your truck.

That might be important to a science nerd... but for the average idiot like me I am satisfied with how the test was conducted... and glad that I saved paying $400 for a Yeti. The Coleman Extreme is performing just the way I need it to... and all for 39.99 on sale at Walmart for a 70 quart. It keeps ice all weekend long at camp. No more trips to get ice mid-weekend.

The Coleman extreme I bought last year keeps ice way longer than any cooler I've ever owned... I saw an independent 10 day comparison test on YouTube a while back and it performed as good or better than all the other $400 coolers and it only cost me $40. I love it!

The DEC doesn't just shoot animals that have bad legs and give them away... nor should they... mother nature can handle things quite well on her own. Unless she becomes a problem of course for the public then that is a different situation.

Yeah I am with you about getting to old to lose sleep over any of this... and yes the future of hunting will be what it is in spite of me... I really am having too much fun hunting lately to really get all rapped up anymore in the ongoing arguments of the ignorant NY hunter. All hunter's have opinions, but most hunters form those opinions on baseless hearsay... it's like looking into a Kaleidoscope with your ears just listening to all the crap sometimes. It's getting so old.

If you think about it... most of us would use our guns not only to protect our family, but our country as well... we protect the 2nd amendment because it protects us from those that would take away our freedoms... there would be no reason for anyone to think that we would turn our guns against a government fighting to maintain freedom for its people... unless that government had thoughts of taking away those freedoms from its people. Understanding that... the only reason a government would try to disarm its citizens would be if they were concerned that the people might turn those guns against the government.. and the only reason they would be concerned would be if they knew something we didn't know... like plans for taking those freedoms from the people. Deep.. HUH? Might take a bit to understand what I just said.

I think this has more to do with his age than anything... remember how much more we knew about everything when we were 30 years old... I remember myself being the smartest man in the world back then... as I grew older my elders began seeming much smarter. LOL
