    Im glad youre ok! Ladder stands are tricky, I was glad we had three people when @sodfather and @turkeyfeathers and I put one up for @Biz-R-OWorld annual WNY visit. Those ground spikes look like a cool idea, so does bringing an extension ladder

    I wear Cabelas Revolution Fleece in Vertigo, fantastic suit. Weatherproof and tough as nails. Early on I wear a different rain suit with more green in it. I don't wear anything that isn't weatherproof as it rains darned near every day of bow or I get drenched from dew walking in

    That guy stinks at setting up his climber. I can do it quickly and quietly, most can once theyve done it enough times. I do love the feeling of knowing im getting in a permanent stand the next morning though, easy peasy lol

    I think the idea is you have lets say six trees prepped and dont need six hang on stands, just steps. Still seems like a PITA.

    Thirdhand stabilizer straps keep the top and bottom connected as you climb and then you cinch them down when youre at height and the stand is absolutely rock solid. Best $20 you can spend for a climber
